(CNN)Doctors Without Borders, calling the U.S. airstrike on its hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan, an "attack on the Geneva Conventions," is asking for an independent investigation by a never-before-used international commission.

The International Humanitarian Fact-Finding Commission has been in existence since 1991. It requires a request by one of the 76 nations that have signed on to it for it to begin its work. Its job is to investigate whether international humanitarian law has been violated.

Doctors Without Borders -- also known as Medecins Sans Frontieres, or MSF -- has said it believes the bombing was a war crime.

"Governments up to now have been too polite or afraid to set a precedent," Dr. Joanne Liu, president of Doctors Without Borders, said Wednesday. "The tool exists, and it is time it is activated."

I wonder how Obama, as Commander-in-Chief, of the organization who committed the crime is involved? This certainly was not an oops.

So, one Nobel Prize winner (ie. Barack Obomber!) has actually bombed another Nobel Prize laureate (MSF/''Doctors Without Borders'')?! Is this a first?! Would it have happened IF MSF was an American organization? You are right that it ''was an not an oops'' and also fyi: please further consider ... by Dr. PCR: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article43087.htm but more directly re. Kunduz, please also try to consider this link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article43082.htm from which ...

I excerpt:''The hospital was not“collateral damage”; it was deliberately targeted, deliberately destroyed, in multiple bombing runs that lasted at least half an hour. Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), which operated the hospital, contacted its own sources in the U.S. government immediately, pleading for the attack to stop — to no avail. The bombing continued until the hospital, with more than 180 occupants, was destroyed.''

I'm just wondering what it will take to get the Obomber before a war crimes tribunel.

I just wonder what it will take to get the greater American public to rise up, say enough is enough, and shut down all that war stuff for the 1% in the Middle-East.

A war crimes tribunal for the Obomber could not really happen before a Bush/Cheney one was over but sadly at this stage it seems that whoever is the temporary titular figurehead of The US Empire - he/she is immune to the precepts of both International Law; domestic oversight and accountability and .. basic morality. You are right that it would take, ''the greater American public to rise up'' but for that to happen, y'all must rely on, 'the lesser American Public' to educate, agitate and organise because The Corporate MSM will NEVER seriously question the real motives and machinations of ... The Same Warmongering Corporations, that also own much of the US MSM! A clear case in point would be GE!

For more info., also consider ... ''America’s War Machine has profited to an extent that no victorious imperial army in history ever approached, financed by the fleecing of our stupid, spellbound citizenry.''

And also - ''At what point does the ability of an empire to mask the imbecility of its operation to its own subjects become impossible? When, if ever, does its capacity to conceal, deny, or falsify the reality of its policies and actions simply break down and fail?''

Alas and finally ... “Created by the wars that required it, the machine now creates the wars it requires.”

Seems that Obama is a crack puppet for TPTB. To say TPTB, does not say enough. It is about the Rockefellers, Rothschilds and the like. It is about the homicidal Bohemian Grove pedophiles. Will work on names and faces.

While Dynasties, Families and Individuals are at the heart of the Global 0.01% Parasite Class - we can NOT underestimate the key role of The Corporations either - especially as they are de facto ''individuals'' apparently & the 14 Amendment bending SCrOTUS ''Citizens United'' decision - is now the key enabler.

For I moment I was getting excited about the USGovernment saying they're no longer going to fund training "moderate" terrorists. But then a couple days later they said they're simply giving the money to these hardcore terrorists. Geez, that after bombing that hospital. Its getting way too pathetic.

Re. Kunduz; Release The Tapes! - ''There is video and audio. It exists. The Pentagon says it’s critically important. Congress has asked for it and been refused. WikiLeaks is offering $50,000 to the next brave soul willing to be punished for a good deed in the manner of Chelsea Manning, Thomas Drake, Edward Snowden, and so many others.'' from:

It's now way beyond just ''pathetic'' and well into homicidal psychopathy and the USG's complicity with ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh is now the mother of all blowbacks! Also fyi, see http://occupywallst.org/forum/how-serious-isis-in-iraq/#comment-1046547 but ssshh re.the 4th link there, as we're not supposed to know! So - ''would it interest you to know who helped these psychopaths rise to power? Would it interest you to know who armed them, funded them and trained them? Would it interest you to know why?'' + see ..

From which ..... ''The US are trying to salvage the remnants of their comic-book Syrian narrative, hiding behind the transparent diversionary claim the Russians are bombing “non-ISIS rebels”, hoping, forlornly no one will be smart enough to realise this essentially means “al Qaeda/al Nusra”, and amounts to an admission the US is working with the group they used to claim were the embodiment of evil.

''Not just working with, but defending hysterically. Watching Ashton Carter at the podium issuing barely concealed threats of retribution to another nuclear power, it is hard to comprehend that he is doing this because Russia dared to bomb the alleged perpetrators of 9/11.

And''Naturally the tame western media aids and abets this bankrupt storyline, but they can’t save it. It’s garbage, and even after the spinners have finished spinning, it still looks like garbage. But the lie has to be maintained, even while it becomes increasingly obvious no one believes it, because the alternative is impossible to contemplate.''

It will take the people that continue to support Democrats and Republican politicians to stop that insanity and join those who are trying to create alternative options.

That being said, the TV is very powerful, and I doubt its going to happen anytime soon.

It will take an epiphany by the people.
