Fight them tooth and nail! DO NOT surrender the park, do not even listen to their orders, DO NOT let this corrupt government push you around any more! if they respond with violence, then we respond with violence! if we all stand up physically for our rights we outnumber them twenty to one! when they come in with tear gas and batons, we should attack with every ounce of strength we have! I say if we really want to win this, we must be prepared to fight those that would take away our freedom! Occupation means you don't leave just because some cops told you to, occupation means you stand your ground no matter what! The 1% can't win this unless we let them win, fight fight fight! Peaceful protest has already failed, we must call for a class war on those who would keep us from being free! Go get your pitchforks and torches! and refuse to be herded around like sheep. If they won't listen to reason (and they won't) then we must use FORCE!

That's a great plan if turning the public against OWS is your goal.

I am not sure if you are dimwitted or anti-OWS.

Either way you should cancel this ridiculous forum

If "democracy" worked then we wouldn't be under the control of a bunch of money hungry corporations, nor would our freedom be in question. And as for public opinion, I believe that most Americans would like an end to a government that favors the rich and persecutes the poor. If we have to fight to get our country back from right and left wing bullshit artists, then we should do so, and viciously.

Democracy works. Corporatism dressed up like democracy does not work. (That’s what we have today)

This movement is just a baby starting to figure out the world. Its two months old.

This baby can’t fight the police, National Guard, military, media, and politicians and come out a winner

Never go into negotiations unless you have leverage. You will not be taken serious.

I feel your emotions but I also am trying to be realistic and not have the OWS beat down while it is little

You are all very defeatist and, in my opinion have neither the will nor the know how to effect change in anything other than where you will be spending the night tonight.

If the American public can as a whole, in effect, change the logo of a corporation as huge as Proctor and Gamble, a few protestors have little or will ever have little to crow about.

We can not more. We fed up. I dont occupy more! I leave this shit movement for ever. Only losers are there now.

The peaceful nature of this process has not failed. It is because of this that the Occupy movement has so much public support.

We take refuge in crowds of civilians and protest from crowds of civilian. By civilians I mean people that have nothing to do with the protests. http://occupywallst.org/forum/flash-protesting-an-idea-to-consider/

Inciting violence is counter-productive and ultimately destructive to the movement as a whole. Non-violence is one of the core tenets of this movement and it has already gained us significant ground. As one user said in another post (in another thread), this is an emotional war and not a physical one. In a physical fight, we will lose. In a fight for the hearts and minds of fellow Americans, we stand a chance.

Don't be foolish, American's WILL show you what a real American looks like should you choose to use such force, they have guns, aren't restricted by the law like cops are, and will defend their town/property with force if you put them in that position.........this is a very very bad post right here, delete this shit, Americans fought the British for 7 years, your revolution will last about 7 minutes.

99% v.s. 1% seems like the numbers are in our favor. Also, we have 200 times the population we had in 1776, and better strategy too. If you refuse to fight for your freedom, then you don't deserve it. No ONE deserves a million dollars, NO ONE.

[-] 1 points by Gbus (80) 12 years ago

Don't be foolish, if I worked my ass off and saved a million dollars, and you tried to take it from me claiming I don't deserve it for whatever fucktard reason, I'd kick your idealistic little ass down the block like anyone would, and I hate to break it to you, but you are the 2%, the other 97% of Americans really don't like being spoken for..........Americans of all people, can stand up for themselves just fine! AND FREEDOM! do you even know WTF it takes to be truly FREE!....Well I do! and it's fucking hard work! AND....You don't have ANY fucking STRATEGY whatsoever! FFS!! if someone wants to be huge, fat, addicted to pharms, chain smoking Wal Mart shopping controlled fucking consumer Shitbag THAT'sTHEIR CHOICE As an American! You can't choose for them just because you think you know some shit! This is what America is all about Freedom of choice you dipshit!

[-] 1 points by lovefreedomandpeace (1) 12 years ago

If no one was rich, everyone would have enough. If you worked your ass off to get a million dollars, and you don't use it to make the world a better place, then you deserve to have it taken from you. There are millions who go without food, shelter, health care, and education because they are poor, and they are poor because of greedy people who think it's more important to have a huge house and lots of money than to help those with nothing.

[-] 1 points by Gbus (80) 12 years ago

This I'm onboard with, not the taketh away part, but, if I were a millionaire, I would take an interest in helping those who cannot help themselves, but that's because I grew up poor......I don't agree though that anyone should have the power to take greedy persons money away........that's seems to....dictator-ish....big brother-ish.....

Go to City Hall Park

[-] 0 points by VoiceOfReasonLA (16) 12 years ago

The 1% is not kicking you out of the park. The police and city administration are using the laws on the books used to protect the citizenry from unlawful seizure of private property and secure the health and wellness of the people who live nearby.

Go back. Pay attention to the rules. Stay during the designated hours, then go home. You will achieve NOTHING from jail. This doesn't have to break the movement, but staying in the park after eviction will just turn regular law abiding citizens against you and thwart the movement.

Don't try to do this by the book, thats what they want, because they wrote it.

[-] 0 points by lovefreedomandpeace (1) 12 years ago

No revolution can be won without casualties, and no people can be free if they won't fight for that freedom! If the government can go to war with another country without the nation's consent, if rich people can control our government for their own private gains, if no one in our nation is free except those that are rich, if they will no longer listen to peaceful protest, and non violent demonstration, then we must stand up, and refuse to give in, we must not be seen as weak and we must fight!

[-] 2 points by theman (44) 12 years ago

this isn't a revolution.........awkward

[-] 1 points by lovefreedomandpeace (1) 12 years ago

If you don't think it's a revolution, you are not paying attention.
