Forum Post: (d)emocratic Dissidence

I plan to express my disapproval of the Democrats for their not giving us a presidential primary by changing my registration from Independent to Democrat for the primary so that I can Write-In Elizabeth Warren and/or Russ Feingold for president.

Obama has never reflected or respected my social justice values.

Warren/Feingold or Feingold/Warren for president in 2012.

By doing this in the primary I make use of the primary as a First Amendment protected direct form of free political speech to express values, to the Democrats, that are important to me.

If enough people join me and use the Write-In option the parties will be forced to count and report those votes which will give all Americans a clearer idea of the level of discontent that exists within the voting population.

I firmly believe that we can be discontented dissidents without disconnecting from the democratic process of the nation. We can better effect change within the government and parties if we develop methods like this to better express our opinions of the creeps who now control the status quo. As engaged (d)emocratic dissidents we are totally out of the control of the corrupt parties and their Wall Street masters.

What does anyone really know about Elizabeth Warren? We have a political novice with an academic background in the White House now. Her speeches, like his did when he campaigned in 2008, sound good, but they only follow the Democratic Party line. Her bio reflects that she is well known by the very political establishment we think is corrupt. At least Feingold has a record of being in favor of campaign finance reform.

That is your democratic choice.

I am not dictating anything. Nor am I advocating for anything other than using the democratic process more creatively than the parties want us to use it.

My support of Warren stems from the fact that Wall Street and the two parties hate and fear her. She has administrative experience in government and her oversight of Wall Street and governance ideas have amassed enemies within Wall Street and the parties.

Please read what I have written. This strategic use of the primary Write-In option is a tactic of expression. The names we use for that expression are important only in the message that they convey.
