I hate being downgraded to a "folk".
a "folk" has not rights in the United states Constitution.
That why politicians like using "folks"
On tuesday you will be saying "dats all folks"
Don't you have minorities to oppress somewhere or whatever it is you people do?
Ha! Just because I don't agree with your tactics I am a racist? Typical.
I'm just fuckin with ya. I bust that out on all my libertarian friends.
Susan Jacoby wrote a piece called "Just us Folks" which explains reasons why politicians say folks instead of citizens. Or "troops" instead of people.
I think that one word address what all the politicians have reduced us to.
"Some 'folks' out there..... "
We are 99% of the "People"
