The 25 Signs of Hell

When the media won’t speak the truth And information is a commodity When spin becomes an art form We put entertainment before humanity

When profits are motives for innovation When people are last and greed is good Corporations will have more rights than citizens Governments no longer serve the people as they should

When Money is created out of nothing When debt is used as servitude When banks loan money that does not exist We get a nation of homeless and crude

When governments lie to go to war And their secrecy is the only a diversion Corporations will reap the profits of such When all along a nations debt was the subversion

We are a world of many points of view And righteousness is in the eye of the beholder But a world of war, chaos and tyranny Will only implode as that is a false order

When enough is never enough for governments When privacy is replaced with security When regulation is a tool for tyranny and corruption Those of the highest crimes never face prosecution

When health is bought and sold on the open market When natural is replace with pills We get only one view of health that is norm And nature will be deemed illegal

So when you notice these things have come to pass You will know the day is near When people will have to stand up to injustice And say no way, no more, with no fear…

You do not make the poor wealthy by making the wealthy poor. Redistribution of wealth needs to come about by the exchanges of goods and services between free people engaged in mutually beneficial transactions. This does NOT require the government to steal from one person to give to another. This requires freedom and capitalistic principles to be employed. The system we live in is NOT capitalistic. Wealth is privatized while risk is socialized. A truly capitalist system would not have permitted the bank bailouts. Just remember Bush's words, something to the effect of- We had to violate the principles of the free market in order to save it. Very Orwellian- Peace is war and war is peace. Do not be fooled into the trap of further collectivism. What we need is a free system where individuals may prosper.

We need a hybrid system.

I don't care about wealth at all. I care about the extreme power/wealth concentration. If we can change the power structure, or somehow make people not sheep anymore, I could care less about money

I don't care about wealth at all. I care about the extreme power/wealth concentration....doesn't that kinda contradict itself?

[-] 1 points by youngandoutraged (123) from Iowa City, IA 12 years ago

no. what I'm saying is that even if I go on being poor, that's irrelevant. What I want is the ties between money and influence in Washington to be cut

[-] 0 points by happybanker (766) 12 years ago

that sounds better....and I agree!

I think that is what this movement is about. If you remove some of the money from politics, the people's influence relative to lobbying power will increase, and we can achieve any goal that is supported by the people. I'm not advocating for direct democracy, as I think our oligarchic one works just fine, but without money, we would be more democratic.

I pretty much feel redistribution of wealth means, government taking money from hard working people (with jobs) and giving it to lazy loozers

It's slang for Envy

Need help making a t-shirt. We need to draw a picture of Zooccotti Park with a cage around it. Here are some ideas: Draw a hippie climbing the cage like a monkey and throwing shit.
Draw a hippie rolling in mud and shit like a pig.
Draw a hippies fucking like dogs.
Draw a picture of a hippie eating peanuts like a big fucking elephant. Draw a hippie as a lazy fucking Ape doing nothing.

It means having the government take my neighbors' work & give it to me.

Doesn't everyone agree it is not fair that just because I don't want to work my neighbor has more than I do?
