Time to remember.

After the terrorist attacks of 9/11 in 2001, that was the reaction of the Iranian government:

Iranian President Mohammad Khatami "expressed deep regret and sympathy with the victims" and said it was "an international duty to try to undermine terrorism".

source: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/1540029.stm

Never forget that!

Iran codemned the attacks, expressed solidarity with the families of the victims, and said that it was "an international duty to try to undermine terrorism".

Iran is not an enemy of the American people!

Iran never supported Al-Qaeda, in fact, Iran is a victim of Al Qaeda. The terrorist group Jundullah, linked to Al-Qaeda did many attacks against Iranian civilians.

Sadly, the CIA is said to support Jundullah, a group linked to Al-Qaeda. The CIA joined Al-Qaeda to attack Iran!

See more info about it here:

http://www.propagandamatrix.com/articles/may2007/280507usesalqaeda.htm

Iran is a peaceful nation that didn't get involved in any war against its neighbors in the past 20 years.

Now, Israel is threatening to attack Iran. The American people should stand in defense of Iran and the Iranian people, against this brutal agression!

Don't let Israel destroy the beautiful city of Tehran and its wonderful people:

I don't support Israeli aggression, but I'm not oblivious to Iranian aggression either.

Iran has close ties to the terrorist group Hezbollah and to the brutal Assad regime in Syria.

It's pursuit of nuclear weapons is a destabilizing force in the Middle East.

I stand against illegal aggression everywhere -- American, Israeli, Arab, or Iranian.

This thread was censored.

Can't be "bumped" anymore. Censorship in plain view.

[-] 1 points by AmericansForIran (14) 12 years ago

Just to remember that this thread is totally ON-TOPIC.

Mainstream media is reporting that Israel's prime minister is trying to gain the authorization of the majority of cabinet for an attack on Iran.

Such an attack could start a large scale World War III, and the American people will suffer.

Israel is the agressor.

Iran is the victim.

Stand against the agression!

[-] 1 points by Odin64 (36) 12 years ago

then move to Iran

[-] 1 points by mimthefree (192) from Biggar, Scotland 12 years ago

why? I don't live in the USA.

[-] 1 points by Odin64 (36) 12 years ago

Oh well then, nice to meet you then

[-] 1 points by Tryagain (300) 12 years ago

And you would deserve the world that would create.

[-] 1 points by mimthefree (192) from Biggar, Scotland 12 years ago

look at the world that american imperialism has created.

[-] 1 points by Tryagain (300) 12 years ago

It protected your sorry ass. The British Empire too supports your worthless little scrap of rocks. How many off you live of the government these days? Better hope those in the south don't grow tired of carrying you.

[-] 1 points by mimthefree (192) from Biggar, Scotland 12 years ago

protected me from what? Iran? I don't think so.

what are you talking about? are you trying to provoke a patriotic reaction?

i would say you're barking up the wrong tree, but it's more like you're in the wrong time zone.

[-] 1 points by Tryagain (300) 12 years ago

Yours is just another nihilist failed socialist state. Good thing it's small and meaningless.

[-] 1 points by mimthefree (192) from Biggar, Scotland 12 years ago

the only things that are small and meaningless are your attempts to provoke a patriotic reaction.

Keep trying though, keep trying to convince yourself that you are somehow a more important person because of where on the earth your mother happened to squeeze you out of her womb, and if you tell yourself enough times, you might even believe it.

even though it's bullshit.

[-] 1 points by Tryagain (300) 12 years ago

Look, I know things like patriotism and the self-respect that comes along with it went away a long time ago where you live. It just good for us that you don't matter.

[-] 1 points by mimthefree (192) from Biggar, Scotland 12 years ago

Patriotism is without self respect, because it requires you to believe in a country in order to believe in yourself.

I think you've got it backwards.

[-] 1 points by Tryagain (300) 12 years ago

Backwards is what's become of Scotland and thinking like yours that sees betters prospects with Iran than the U.S.

[-] 1 points by stevilism (130) 12 years ago

Well...the statement made by Mohammad Khatami was a little self serving. Iran belongs to the Shia sect of Islam...and Bin-Laden who is Saudi belongs to the Sunni sect. So, anything that makes the Saudis and Sunni sect look bad...Iran will be in support of it. Iran would like nothing more than to see the relationship between the US and Saudi Arabia go sour - not that I mind that also...but that's another story.

Have you ever heard Ahmadinejad's speeches in the UN?

Come on....this is not going to get much traction in the US.

[-] 0 points by AmericansForIran (14) 12 years ago

I heard Ahmadinejad's speeches in the UN telling the American people that 9/11 was probably a false flag attack, planned by the CIA.

What is wrong with that? He never supported the attacks.

[-] 1 points by AmericansForIran (14) 12 years ago

Iranian civilians are often victim of the terrorist group Jundullah, that has proven links both to the CIA and Al-Qaeda.

Taking that into consideration, it's not a surprise that the Iranian government thinks that the attacks of 9/11 were planned by the CIA.

I remember him saying there are no gay people in Iran. I wonder where they went?

[-] 1 points by AmericansForIran (14) 12 years ago

Don't know. Maybe the same place where gay people from Saudi Arabia, an US government close ally, went...

[-] 0 points by Odin64 (36) 12 years ago

And yet Iran is calling for the eradication of Israel and America ...

Hum, I wonder if you have lost sight of what evil looks like

[-] 0 points by AmericansForIran (14) 12 years ago

Never.

Iran NEVER called for the erradication of America. NEVER.

If you say otherwise, prove it!

[-] 1 points by Odin64 (36) 12 years ago

Ha, So when he called Israel little Satan and America Big Satan it was with all the love of a dictator whom will silence is own people with death

[-] 0 points by AmericansForIran (14) 12 years ago

He called the US government (not the American people) the "big satan".

He never called for the "erradication" of America or the American people.

[-] 1 points by Odin64 (36) 12 years ago

He still calls for the eradication of an entire race of people! How can I stand with a man who has no value of human life. If his people are not safe under his government, how can I feel safe when mine is eradicated. In thier is no tolerance for freedom of thought, expression, or religion, their for their is no freedom to happiness!

[-] 1 points by AmericansForIran (14) 12 years ago

What race are you talking about?

I hope you are not talking about jews... Because if you are, you are a liar.

The jews of Iran are very well treated by the government.

Iran's Jews reject cash offer to move to Israel: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2007/jul/12/israel.iran

See?

[-] 1 points by Odin64 (36) 12 years ago

HA HA HA yes that is a good one, Ahmadinejad just loves the jews

"Israel must be wiped off the map! The establishment of a Zionist regime was a move by the world oppressor against the Islamic world . . . The skirmishes in the occupied land are part of the war of destiny. The outcome of hundreds of years of war will be defined in Palestinian land."

(In an address to 4,000 students at a program titled, 'The World Without Zionism')

[-] 1 points by AmericansForIran (14) 12 years ago

Read the link provided above. You will discover that the "Israel must be wiped off the map" is a mistranslation.

[-] 1 points by Odin64 (36) 12 years ago

Your naive that's who most genocides begin. What about Ayatollah Mohammad Taghi Mesbah saying it was okay to kill jewish children
