Forum Post: Decentralization and the Human Condition

Out of sight, out of mind. Another poster here just posted on how there is no free market, which is even more of a reason to keep everything as local as possible.

The government needs to fear the people. No one is scared when they live in the bunker known as Washington DC.

`Oddly enough under the guise of liberal the decentralization meme is the one that has been used since the 1950s to support corporate governance.

[-] 1 points by LocalConcepts (6) 10 years ago

People perverting the concept is something different all together. Corporations love consolidation, they are consolidating everything under the sun from political power to monopolies to the monetary policy.

Check out Yellen's welcome tot he club party on Wall St yesterday. Quite the message eh?

No, this is the same concept.

I''d rather rely on the local occupy-type groups (occupy Sandy) than the warmongers suedo-selfhelping services.

[-] -1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 10 years ago

What you would rather do is to destroy the small amount that we have in place and have all services rely on charity...........who would of course receive funding via the government. Not because of any wishing to rely on a better type of people but for smaller government.

Be honest.

Small amount? Have you seen the "homeland security" budget?

[-] -1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 10 years ago

Have you seen what is outsourced? There is far more than "homeland security" at stake. You KNOW this. However, you wish to utilize fear.

OIC. You're another one of those posters that refuses to follow links.

Name dropping will get you nowhere.

You're the one who didn't address the link.

By your typos I would have to suspect you're the banned user, formerly know as hchc.

A user, notorious for his attacks on other users....

That would mean it's YOU doing the attacking.

Transference will get you nowhere.

All you had to do is actually read the link.

It's from Occupy.

This is the post that I POSTED. Its about decentralization.

Who are you to come onto everyone's threads and demand that all of you links are read? There's four of you that get shit from people, and its for good reason.

Who the hell do you think you are?

I'm not hchc.

And YOU are.

Notorious, for your attacks on other users, as well as ignoring your own community.

time and time again.

Should I delete your former username??

PS it was ONE link from Occupy.

So WTF are you really bitching about?

So that people can have conversations without them, once again.

Thanks for the downvotes, it let's me know how many more of the cabal are still around.

[-] -2 points by GirlFriday (17435) 10 years ago

Well, I'm not a PR firm. Neither are the other 3.

[-] 1 points by LocalConcepts (6) 10 years ago

Nice edit. The four of you need to figure out whats the plan for this site if you want to stick around, enough is enough already. This isnt your own personal playground to degrade and attack everyone and anyone that comes on here.

I'm willing to sit here and put my entire life on line in order to prove to some moderators that Im not part of the problem, that myself and others deserve to have their opinions shared, because I actually take a sense of pride in what this entire thing was, is and possibly could be.

Going forward, until something happens that is bigger than what Occupy was, this name is the benchmark and I'll defend horizontal and openness and democracy in the name of it going forward.

If you dont like that then what do you like?

No. You need to get it together, Jeremy et al. You have been banned multiple times. So, pull your head out of your ass.

Don't play innocent.

You're not FLAKESnews.

The "everyone" you refer to, is the cabal that's chased off numerous liberal users and then played innocent.

I'm well aware of all of those shenanigans.

I also took many of your insults. Your reputation precedes you.

You are not who are currently pretending to be.
