We have become use to thinking we have a right to all that we have. No matter what damage we do to the earth or other people. We have become detached and disconnected from reality. We have become detached from the earth, we have become detached from the feelings and lives of people else where if it interferes with our right to maintain our lifestyle. I would submit to you that we are on a course of leading to inevitable annihilation. Martin Luther King said the issue is not between non violence and violence, its between non violence and non existence. The course we are on in this world is a course of ultimate destruction. Do we want to be apart of this course of ultimate destruction? Or do we want to be a part of hope, affirmation and justice, for all people of the earth and for the earth itself... Without which we cannot live. Yes, I am talking about a non violent revolution of consciousness. Everyone comes to a point in life in which we reflect upon those things that matter. There are some who chose to ignore the depths of this question. And there others that follow this question into oblivion. Is it possible to walk the middle path? To ask these questions and yet embrace the possibility of never getting the answer? Is it possible to live our lives not in the absence of a corrupt world but to spite it. If you were asked to ponder the one thing that matters most in your life what would it be? Security, money, success, sex, power? Have you ever considered why we crave? Do we not have enough? What happens when we have all the money, all the security, all the success, sex, all the power? But haven't found peace. What happens if we gain the world without love or appreciation. We end up only wanting more... The world cant give enough of itself like humanity is a black hole devouring everything. When we receive these things our first instinct is to protect them from others. We distrust our neighbors because of them. We wage war to gain more of them. However, love is different... whenever love is presence our first instinct is to give it back. To help those who long to be truly free. Those who desire to give back... But what happens when no wants love anymore? What if no one desired freedom? What if the greatest epidemic ever know to man has already infected everyone. A whole race of humanity coned into believe that slavery is freedom, that fear is love, that suffering is happiness. Would you be able to recognize it if it were happening right now? Ask yourself... Look around... IS IT? is this the world we live in now?

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

I gained nothing but pain. Then I realized what it really meant to love.

"For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it...For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels."

If you take it out of context, you lose it's meaning.

"So I say to you, use your worldly wealth to win friends for yourselves, so that when money is a thing of the past you may be received into an eternal home. . . "No servant can be the slave of two masters; for either he will hate the first and love the second, or he will be devoted to the first and think nothing of the second. You cannot serve God and Money." ¶The Pharisees, who loved money , heard all this and scoffed at him. — Jesus (Luke 16, NEV)

You say some very profound things here, 4THSP. You're not alone in how you feel, but don't despair, we're working on it.

[-] 2 points by 4TheHumanSocietyProject (504) 2 years ago

Thanks, I just wish people would care faster. ><

[-] 2 points by beautifulworld (21292) 2 years ago

Me too. It's not easy to change the world.

Again, really interesting. You have a lot of good out-of-the-box ideas and information. Excellent.

“When people are ready to, they change. They never do it before then, and sometimes they die before they get around to it. You can't make them change if they don't want to, just like when they do want to, you can't stop them.” ― Andy Warhol, Andy Warhol: In His Own Words

Why do people say ridiculous things when I am just trying to help?

"…Whoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God" (James 4:4). Then read Isiah 1 verse one and on (to long to post here or I would) Then we go to the Koran and Isa which is Arabic for Jesus says 1) 3:55 - (And remember) when Allah said: O Isa! Lo! I am gathering thee and causing thee to ascend unto Me, and am cleansing thee of those who disbelieve and am setting those who follow thee above those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then unto Me ye will (all) return, and I shall judge between you as to that wherein ye used to differ. 2) Acts 1:7-11 - He said to them: "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." 9 After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. 10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11 "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Isa, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven." God in either on you want to believe God did say he cursed the world....My point is that these wars that being Iraq and Iran and all countries in the area the main focus is their belief and when U go and read the Christian scriptures and then read and compare the Koran (Quran)

I think the guy with the weed showed up.

[-] 2 points by 4TheHumanSocietyProject (504) 2 years ago

are you saying that I am high?

[-] -1 points by WooHoo (15) 2 years ago

Well that would explain it, yes.

[-] 2 points by 4TheHumanSocietyProject (504) 2 years ago

I do not participate in any mind altering substances. I do not believe they are necessary.

[-] 0 points by WooHoo (15) 2 years ago

You write like you do.

[-] 1 points by 4TheHumanSocietyProject (504) 2 years ago

Please do not judge me for I do not judge you.

[-] -1 points by justhefacts (1275) 2 years ago

Drugs aren't the only thing that alters a mind. Blunt force trauma. Electro shock therapy. Lack of oxygen. Sharp tools inserted in the right places.....

[-] 3 points by shooz (18022) 2 years ago

Don't forget FLAKESnews, makes you dumber.

They should do a study on Limbaugh listeners too.

[-] 1 points by BonTon (57) 2 years ago

shoozy , check yer rush obsession at the door. We're talkin revoltin' consciousness

[-] 1 points by shooz (18022) 2 years ago

Hmmmmm, they both create really dumb hallucinations, and even dumber beliefs.

FLAKESnews dumb effects are proven..

[-] 1 points by 4TheHumanSocietyProject (504) 2 years ago

I do not participate in any mind altering "substances".

[-] -1 points by justhefacts (1275) 2 years ago

That's nice.

[-] 1 points by 4TheHumanSocietyProject (504) 2 years ago

Do you?

[-] -1 points by justhefacts (1275) 2 years ago

Depends on what you mean by mind altering substances. Some people consider sugar or caffeine or white flour to be mind altering. I do not use illegal drugs, but I do use the occasional legal drug should I feel it necessary.

[-] 1 points by 4TheHumanSocietyProject (504) 2 years ago

Caffeine is mind altering. So is alcohol... When do you feel it is necessary to use mind altering substances?

[-] 0 points by justhefacts (1275) 2 years ago

What business is that of yours?

By legal drug I don't mean alcohol or "marijuana" which is "legal" in some places. I'm talking about cold medicines or Advil. Calm down.

[-] 1 points by 4TheHumanSocietyProject (504) 2 years ago

I am calm... It is not my business, I am just trying to converse with you. I agree that in times of sickness it should be used. However, those who do it to get a little loose or to free there mind... Are killing themselves for unnecessary reasons. We do not need to do these things, we are powerful enough to let go of the hate and despair that binds us. Would you agree?

Okay, that would explain it too.

So whatever your issue is, if nothing else I'd suggest you try paragraphs.

[-] 1 points by 4TheHumanSocietyProject (504) 2 years ago

ok.

[-] -1 points by justhefacts (1275) 2 years ago

Apparently when your undergo a revolution of consciousness you no longer crave proper communication parameters. It is replaced with the desire to end as many sentences as possible with a question mark...
