It's a successful BUYcott/boycott! Yahoo news says that many consumers are moving money into credit unions and community banks and out of Bank of America. Big banks are dropping their plans to charge debit card fees. Chalk up a victory for the Occupy movement.

Keep your money close,
And your jobs closer.
I was just looking for a good credit union in nyc. Moving out of boa!
That's the best news I've heard all day!
anyone who says OWS has failed is wrong! thanks for the info.
I'd guess this is more related to the widely reported fees than anything to do with OWS.
There is truth to that, but I prefer my answer =)
that's good news! thanks for Posting
Move your money anyway. Just because BoA is letting you get out of a fee if they can get your money a different way (higher minimums, etc.) is no reason to stay with them.
Good point, cmt.
