WHEREAS, corporations are offspring of the state - conceived to prompt fuller employment of available resources and created to promote the general welfare;

And, WHEREAS, many of today's corporations do not appear cognizant of the public purpose associated with their privilege;

THEREFORE, effective one year from passage of this National Resolution, corporations doing more than $1 million in interstate or international business shall have obtained their charter from the Department of Commerce of the US Federal Government, and shall be closely governed by a board of directors that fairly and fully represents the complete spectrum of stakeholder groups affected by the corporation's activities. Such groups would include, but not limited to, shareholders, workers, customers, suppliers and neighbors.

Surely, existing management is in the best position to know how to implement this policy, in letter and in spirit, if it is their will. Challenges may be made in Federal Court, loser paying all customary costs for both sides.
