Why don't we hold congress to the same standards as every other government job? This hasn't been brought up yet to my knowledge. Some of our elected officials miss up to 40% or more of the votes and constantly off on vacations.
1 week paid vacation 1 week of sick days etc. etc.
and that increases with time. If i missed 40% of my job my ass would be fired, and so should theirs! If your not in Washington every day and voting and helping to run the country that says you don't want to be there and we need to find someone that does.
