ConEd is sucking the life and money from NY residence and the useless politicians are doing nothing about it. I've written to the Chairman of the Public Service Commission, Garry Brown and this was his response,"From an economic view point, public utilities operate at a greatest efficiency as monopolies..." Really??? Our politicians carter to the giant corporations and who fund their campaigns so companies like ConEd can continue to rape NY citizens... Outrageous!!

I know what to do... complain about it. No, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Occupy is not only sitting in public spaces, it is about forcing change to the system we dislike. You are a concerned citizen and thus make the perfect person to lead a movement. Convince people that ConEd is "sucking the life and money" out of NY. Start a image and slogan campaign, get the word out to journalists and artists and other activitists. Once you have a large enough following boycott the bastards, maybe only for a day, maybe only on a few city blocks, but let those in power know that the people are against them.
