Forum Post: Co-opt the co-opters

Every person in OWS is co-opting the movement.

I always thought that was part of the OWS movement, that people have a lot of differences. Yet so many people throw out the term "co-opt" and try and use it to alienate people who share a common interest of changing the status quo.

There should only be one rule, you do not talk about Fight Club. Second rule is this: We will not tolerate discrimination, harassment, and/or bullying against a person based on their actual or perceived race, religion, familial status, physical attributes, mental or physical ability or disability, sex, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, gender expression, gender identity, and political affiliation or beliefs.
