Landmark European court of human rights judgment says CIA tortured wrongly detained German citizen.

But late in the day on the VERY SAME day - 28 people were murdered at Hooks Elementary School in Connecticut.

Guess which story is making the news cycle.

The European court of human rights has ruled German citizen Khaled el-Masri was tortured by CIA agents, the first time the court has described treatment meted out by the CIA as torture. Photograph: Christian Hartmann/AP

CIA agents tortured a German citizen, sodomising, shackling, and beating him, as Macedonian state police looked on, the European court of human rights said in a historic judgment released on Thursday.

Sodomized, huh? Fine, upstanding U.S. torturers.

Did you see Joe Scarborough championing torture? He claimed the Hollywood movie, Zero Dark Thirty, proved it works (a Hollywood move, that's about as close to a primary source as one can get, yes?).

[-] 2 points by PublicCurrency (1387) 5 years ago

@nomdeguerre Thank you for the links.

Joe Scarborough says the movie, "Zero Dark Thirty," proves torture works.

Except it doesn’t, as "Zero Dark Thirty" screenwriter, Mark Boal, blithely admits in The New Yorker:

The film includes wrenching scenes of a terrorist suspect being waterboarded and subjected to other forms of torture by C.I.A. operatives; the suspect eventually surrenders information that helps lead to bin Laden. Director, Katherine Bigelow, maintains that everything in the film is based on first-hand accounts, but the waterboarding scene, which is likely to stir up controversy, appears to have strayed from real life. According to several official sources, including Dianne Feinstein, the head of the Senate Intelligence Committee, the identity of bin Laden’s courier, whose trail led the C.I.A. to the hideout in Pakistan, was not discovered through waterboarding. “It’s a movie, not a documentary,” Boal said. “We’re trying to make the point that waterboarding and other harsh tactics were part of the C.I.A. program.” Still, Bigelow said, “the film doesn’t have an agenda, and it doesn’t judge. I wanted a boots-on-the-ground experience.”

Such is our main stream media . . . Six corporations own ALL of it . . .

Yeah, but if they say it enough times, some people will buy the crap that they sell. The media has that power.

Thanx for this news - as sickening as it it.

Newtown Connecticut School Shooting: Police Walked A Man In Camouflage Pants And Dark Jacket Out Of Woods A witness describes the man fitting the shooter's description, that was walked out from the woods

[-] 1 points by SparkyJP (1646) from Westminster, MD 5 years ago

I saw that, but how about this for coincidence:

Video: 2 Mass Shootings Connected To Libor Scandal?

The father of Connecticut school shooter Adam Lanza, Peter Lanza, was the tax director for General Electric, a corporation that paid -0- taxes on 14.2 billion dollars in profits last year. According to Fabian4Liberty, Peter Lanza was scheduled to testify in the ongoing global LIBOR scandal. In what could only be described an amazing coincidence, the father of Colorado Batman shooter James Holmes, Robert Holmes, was also a LIBOR witness in his position with FICO. According to the link at FICO, Robert Holmes was a ‘Fraud Scientist’.

From Fabain4Liberty:

The father of Newtown Connecticut school shooter Adam Lanza is Peter Lanza who is a VP and Tax Director at GE Financial. The father of Aurora Colorado movie theater shooter James Holmes is Robert Holmes, the lead scientist for the credit score company FICO. Both men were to testify before the US Sentate in the ongoing LIBOR scandal. The London Interbank Offered Rate, known as Libor, is the average interest rate at which banks can borrow from each other. 16 international banks have been implicated in this ongoing scandal, accused of rigging contracts worth trillions of dollars. HSBC has already been fined $1.9 billion and three of their low level traders arrested.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a motive and a link. This coincidence is impossible to overlook. Two mass shootings connected to LIBOR.

SparkyJP thank you for the links.

More breaking news: Sandy Hook appears on the map in the movie, "The Dark Night Rises," at 1 hour and 58 minutes.

[-] 1 points by SparkyJP (1646) from Westminster, MD 5 years ago

I just saw that. Unreal eh? I think we should be careful though. There's going to be a lot of propaganda out there that will be hard to weed through; and if this turns out to be a hoax (movie edited), it could detract from the main story - That the two shooters' fathers were whistleblowers about to testify in the LIBOR case. If JUST that alone is true, then it says volumes about what's going on. If however it is in the movie; it opens up a whole new can of worms.

Well there is no doubt it works. The question is whether its acceptable to do so.

[-] 1 points by PublicCurrency (1387) 5 years ago

Read the article referenced in the link: Senator Feinstein and the Director of the movie state that torture of suspects did not help in the hunt to find Osama bin Laden.

[-] 1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 5 years ago

Torture has been going on since the beginning of time. Theres a reason for that. Its horrible yes, and we should not be doing it. If you want to listen to a director and Feinstein, thats on you.

[-] 1 points by nomdeguerre (1775) from Brooklyn, NY 5 years ago

OK, battlefield torture has always gone on. That's an ugly fact of life. But,

How does that relate to the torture of innocents caught up in questionable dragnets? If your neighbor falsely reported you as a possible terrorist because a) he wanted the reward or b) he wanted your wife or c) no discernible reason, would it be ok with you that you be tortured till you plead guilty to terrorism (you would say anything to stop the pain (which is why torture is not effective))? Your health and sanity (assuming you survived) would just be collateral damage right? So would it be fine with you?

Guantanamo is full of such falsely accused non-terrorists. This is known but they were tortured anyway. Why? Terrorism theater. The thinking behind Guantanamo and widespread torture is evil, pure evil. Light against Darkness. Good vs. evil.

Finally, on a lesser note, Americans don't torture because torturers aren't American. They are unAmerican, haters-of-American-ideals, haters-of-the-Constitution pieces of filth.

[-] 1 points by PublicCurrency (1387) 5 years ago

Thank you, nomdegurre. Well stated!

"Finally, on a lesser note, Americans don't torture because torturers aren't American. They are unAmerican, haters-of-American-ideals, haters-of-the-Constitution pieces of filth."

I think that is our ideals. but I think our government is currently the Michael Jordan of Torturing.

[-] 1 points by nomdeguerre (1775) from Brooklyn, NY 5 years ago

Yes our government has been infected/hijacked by an evil criminal elite with no morality that besmirches our good name, that brings shame to all of us. We need to reclaim our American ideals, reclaim and wrap ourselves in the flag -- if they want to fight OWS they will have to 'trample it under'.

if you're going to talk about sodomized and tortured, include chris stevens.

[-] 1 points by Nevada1 (5843) 5 years ago

Thank you PublicCurrency for post.
Everyone should see this.

[-] 2 points by Nevada1 (5843) 5 years ago

Thank you for info. As usual, things are not as TPTB would have us believe. They are likely scrambling with damage control, as evidence does not match story.

Will downlode mkultra pdf.

[-] 2 points by PublicCurrency (1387) 5 years ago

Thank you also . . .

I just downloaded the PDF from senate.gov

As usual "things are not as TPTB would have us believe."

I am reminded of a quotation by Thomas Jefferson.

If we are to guard against ignorance and remain free, it is the responsibility of every American to be informed.

Variations: If a nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.

If we are to guard against ignorance and remain free, it is the responsibility of every American to be informed."

That poor man. This is beyond outrageous.

Thank you for sharing this information. More people need to know so these horrid practices can be stopped.

[-] 2 points by PublicCurrency (1387) 5 years ago

This blatant violation of our heritage of freedom will NOT make the news because all of the coverage will be the horrific murder of 28 INNOCENT VICTIMS in Newton Connecticut.

Where is the motivation for this? ? ?

Who could have a motive? ? ?

[-] 2 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 5 years ago

Motive in regards to what specifically? The shooting or the CIA torture?

[-] 2 points by PublicCurrency (1387) 5 years ago

Q: Could the CIA have a motive to control the news cycle?

A: Yes

Q: Does motive prove guilt?

A: No

just sayin . . .

Prozac and its family of psychotropic drugs are at the heart of 99% off mass murder shootings. The media also hypes victim disarmament zones like public brainwashing centers as a great place for Prozac and Zoloft heads to kill. They always go to the place with no guns so they can take there time.

[-] 2 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 5 years ago

You should chat with Zen Dog about this. He has mentioned MK Ultra many times.

For me, it's kind of a leap to think the CIA was involved, but I am definitely curious about the man they found in the woods behind the school. Did they let him go because they found the dead shooter in the school and they thought that was it? Or because the man was clearly not involved? I wish there was an interview with the police about this. I would hate to think a second shooter was there and got away.

The CIA is already guilty of torture, murder, and drug smuggling. And there are facts to prove this. But for some reason they still exist.

[-] 1 points by PublicCurrency (1387) 5 years ago

The US Senate held hearings on MK Ultra. The Congressional Record is thought to be one of the most reputable sources of documentation.

I actually bookmarked that link so I can read it later.

Its early yet, but it looks like the father of Connecticut shooter Adam Lanza (Peter Lanza) and the father of Colorado shooter James Holmes (Robert Holmes) were BOTH supposed to testify in the Libor case. Hopefully someone can confirm this soon.

Peter lanza is alive in stamford conn. tax director and vice president taxes at ge energy financial services. The Stamford Advocate is reporting that the father of Adam Lanza, the man who killed 20 young children and six others at Sandy Hook Elementary school, is not dead despite being included in earlier reports. Peter Lanza did not comment to a Stamford reporter when asked about the incident.

The initial confusion as to the whereabouts came from the report of a dead body being found at 36 Yogananda Street in Newtown. That body is now believed to be the mother of Adam Lanza. She had already been incorrectly identified as being killed at the school. Lanza is believed to have driven her car to the school.

Peter Lanza, who drove to northern New Jersey to talk to police and the FBI, is a vice president at GE Capital and had been a partner at global accounting giant Ernst & Young.

According to reporting by San Diego Reader editor Matt Potter, the father of the suspected Colorado mass murderer is almost certainly an anti-fraud scientist at a San Diego company. He is Robert M. Holmes, senior lead scientist at the San Diego office of Minneapolis-based FICO, New York Stock Exchange-listed company that was formerly named Fair Isaac.

He is listed as living at the same Rancho Penasquitos address on Sparren Ave. as his wife Arlene, who earlier talked with reporters about her son. Robert M. Holmes's picture appears to be the same person who was shown on TV entering a car to begin a trip to Denver. FICO spokesperson Kate Sellers Blatt would not confirm that Holmes worked for the firm, saying in an email, "Out of respect for the privacy of our employees, as a matter of policy FICO does not disclose information about individuals."

The senior Holmes has a PhD in statistics from Cal-Berkeley, a Master's in biostatistics from UCLA, and a bachelor's in mathematics from Stanford. Over the last ten years, he has developed predictive models for financial services, and credit and fraud risk models. He is one of several scientists who patented a predictive model system used to detect telecommunications fraud

So what. The ambassador in Behghazi was sodomised before he was murdered. No one in this country ( or on this site) cares. Why is one worse than the other? And you seem to be saying that your story is more important than 20 children being murdered.really?

[-] 0 points by PublicCurrency (1387) 5 years ago

So what . . . Why are you reading this site and commenting then ?

[-] 0 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 5 years ago

this is easily the most important recent post on the forum.
