Having just watched the movie A Christmas Carol by Dickens, i must say that is the essence of what we need in the USA and the world today. We need the transformation and the graditude that Scrooge experienced and that graditude propelled him to be generous and kind. Government cannot legislate this, nor can redistribution of wealth. That said govt must regulate and punish wrong doing by the greedy, but those folks will reap what they sow.

CNN. The Celebrity News Network. What a bunch of rotten sold-out pigs. It's bad enough that they constantly praise celebrities for their bogus fake humanitarian crap every time they have a new movie, show, CD, fashion line, or some other over-priced crap to promote. All while COMPLETELY IGNORING the record high concentration of wealth that filthy rich celebrities represent. That's bad enough.

But now, they have the nerve to hype up a new show about 'heroes' and claim that's about ordinary people. It's not. It should be but it's not.

IT SHOULD BE BUT ITS NOT. Those 'ordinary people' are being exploited for ratings and PR. How do I know this?

The show will be hosted by Anderson Cooper. The CNN poster boy. His face appears on every single ad for the show. EVERY SINGLE ONE. That wasn't necessary. The show will be attended by the same filthy rich celebrity pigs that CNN constantly praise for their bogus 'good will' fake humanitarian crap. That isn't necessary.

Mark my words: Those celebrity pigs won't be upstaged by 'ordinary people'. No way in hell. THEY REFUSE TO BE UPSTAGED BY ANYONE. They won't stay seated. They won't stay in the background. They have agreed to attend the show in part, to give the ILLUSION that they are humble and modest. They are not. They all have ulterior motives. Every single one of them.

Mark my words: Those filthy rich celebrities have already negotiated with CNN for  their own airtime. Their faces will be shown OVER AND OVER AND OVER during the show itself. They will be mentioned by name and invited to appear on stage during the show.

FILTHY RICH CELEBRITY PIGS WHO ALL HAVE NEW PRODUCTS TO PROMOTE. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. THEY ALWAYS HAVE ULTERIOR MOTIVES. ITS AWAYS ABOUT MARKETING. ITS ALWAYS ABOUT PROMOTING THEMSELVES. THIS IS NO EXCEPTION. THEY CANT EVEN STEP ASIDE AND LET A FEW REAL HEROES HAVE THEIR OWN FUCKING DAY WITHOUT SHOWING THEIR ROTTEN CELEBRITY FACES. ITS A SHAM. ANOTHER ROTTEN MARKETING TRICK.

Of course, there will be scripted lines. The ordinary people were chosen in part, for their willingness to show love for their favorite celebrities or fake it for the camera. Of course, there will be celebrity praise. Maybe, even fake tears. Just remember: Commercial airtime is incredibly valuable. Each minute of commercial airtime is worth six or seven figures. They aren't allocated unless there is a profit to be made. These shows don't just happen. They are carefully planned and rehearsed ahead of time. Every single participant has been coached on what to do and what to say. This includes the ordinary people. Most of whom probably don't realize that they are being exploited by CNN. The Celebrity News Network.

CNN. It's bad enough that they constantly praise filthy rich celebrity pigs for their bogus fake humanitarian crap. They even devoted an entire segment in December of '09' to Madonna and her now disgraced 'Raising Malawi' foundation. That's bad enough. But they can't even throw a bone to a few ordinary people without including a bunch of filthy rich fake humanitarian celebrity pigs.

ALL OF WHICH HAVE NEW PRODUCTS TO PROMOTE. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.

It makes me sick.

Good will has become big business.

We were all born with a natural instinct to gather and store for survival. A natural instinct to care for family and community. This is human nature.

When modern society was formed, we began to sell out our natural instincts. Survival turned into survival with a little more elbow room. Then survival with a little more elbow room and a nice view. Then survival with a little more elbow room, a nice view, and something pretty to hang around our neck.

Fast forward a few thousand years. With the industrial revolution, came mechanized transportation, modern housing, air conditioning, and television.

We had become somewhat spoiled. Somewhat motivated. Still relatively down to Earth. Still modest enough to appreciate one another, care for one another, and work towards a common goal.

Along the way, the potential for increased personal wealth became more and more intoxicating. Now, the vast overwhelming majority want to be rich. They want it so badly, they are willing to sell out basic morality to attain it. They WILL sell out basic morality if given the opportunity.

How can I be so sure? That's easy. Human nature plus years of corrupt influence plus opportunity.

Mother Nature did not plan for modern society. She did not plan for extreme personal wealth. Once attained, we become fully intoxicated. We simply can not process the concept without being corrupted by it. Without compromising our basic morality.

Extreme personal wealth is the single greatest corrupt influence of modern society. With every 'zero' on the paycheck, our basic instincts to care for family and community are compromised.

Those of you who still aren't convinced, consider this:

If God himself gave you the power to end poverty, bring about world peace, and take a bonus of $100,000,000 for yourself, would you do it?

If God himself gave you the power to end poverty, bring about world peace, OR take a bonus of $100,000,000 for yourself, which would you choose?

Which would the vast overwhelming majority choose?

Why are the richest men and women in the world so incredibly determined to get even richer?

How did the world's wealth become so incredibly concentrated?

Why is the concept of a partial redistribution for the good of humanity so incredibly divisive and controversial?

How is it that virtually every developed nation in the world has become riddled with fear, instability, and rising debt?

How have so many world leaders and those affiliated become even richer as their own economies falter?

The answer is greed. An obsessive desire for extreme personal wealth.  It's become a worldwide epidemic. Smashing through moral character like a runaway train.

Not only is the greatest concentration of wealth in world history the single greatest underlying cause of economic instability. The very concept of extreme personal wealth is the most intoxicating and corrupt influence in the history of mankind.   There will be no recovery. The train won't stop until the track runs out.

Greed kills. It will be our downfall.

How are they wrong for making more money than you?? Do you even really know the names and locations of these specific "Scrooges" you all hate so much?? You have no right to expect some of their money, just as they have no right to yours. You willingly GAVE them that money when you buy their products. Who then is greedy, the one making the product, or the one buying it?? They sow product and reap funds. What do you do?? A Christmas Carol was also written(as it's a story with no basis in real life. What we need is Ghostbusters if that's the case. That'd be awesome) in a far different time also. There weren't shit tons of people everywhere clamoring for the same (rapidly reducing) thing (like George A Romeros Dawn of the Dead). People gathered around radios and massive 9 inch TVs, not watching TMZ on plasma to see if Marilyn Monroe was really shopping at Walmart(cheap harlot). Then more and more people start showing up. More assholes interbred with non assholes. Soon, the population exploded(more zombies!! AHHH!!) and now we all fight for nothing. The "1%" as you call them are above all of this, because the bulk of them made it before things got to overpopulated, and now all they have to do is ride the wave(waterworld). This is why their wealth has exploded (Richie Rich). I'm sure I can get a couple more movies in here if I think reel (geddit??) hard
