All though life is far from perfect in the People's Republic, there is a concerted effort to create jobs here:

China creates 12.02 mil new jobs in urban areas during Jan-Nov

China vows 9 mln new jobs in 2012, stresses people's well-being

Excerpt:

"Governments at all levels must continue to follow the strategy of giving top priority to employment and more actively implement employment policies," reads the report handed out to journalists before the session starts.

Shouldn't the US be doing the same?

Don't ya think US businesses have created plenty of jobs in China already?

Sure, but as westerners are increasingly less able to buy even cheap Chinese products, the Chinese are having to focus more on developing their internal economy. Shouldn't the US be doing the same?

Yep - so why aren't they?

Because our enemy, the financial oligarchy, a global "empire" akin to the British empire of years gone by, has "colonized" our country. It has bought out our politicians, mass media and educational institutions and is now using these as "weapons" against us in a kind of "irregular warfare".

As a people now, we have been splintered into a million ideologies and are unable to attain the unity of purpose which we once possessed when fighting the "enemy".

That report was printed in March of 2012. Do you know if it really happened - and if so, how did they do it - what kind of jobs were provided?

The first article says:

"Some 12.02 million new jobs were created in the first 11 months this year, which has already beat the annual target of 9 million, according to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (MHRSS) Tuesday."

I don't know the details though.
