CEO GOTBUCKS: Don't you workers understand that we must be able to compete in a global marketplace! I don't like having to take away your pension, and your healthcare (even from the retirees), and not giving you a raise for 6 years, and reducing your sicktime, and increasing your work area to 100 miles from home, and taking away doubletime, and reducing disability benefits, and firing lower level managers left and right etc... but by gosh I'm trying to compete with companies in other countries that pay their employees 25 dollars a day!
JOE EMPLOYEE: Excuse me Mr Gotbucks, but if you want to tell us we must lower our standard of living in order to compete with other countries, don't you then have to do the same for yourself? Here in the USA CEO's of large corporations make 300 times what the average worker makes. Are you aware that in other countries like Japan the "CEO to Worker Pay Ratio" is as low as 11 times? It seems that what's really going on here is that you're just syphoning all the profits towards yourself. And another thing, how come even companies that are kicking butt, like Verizon or Caterpillar, are still demanding all kinds of concessions from their wor---

Nice post.
People we need to be more competitive to face the world market - so in addressing this issue in a sane and practical manner - the CEO and All executive officers as well as the Board of directors has been let go as an unnecessary and wasteful expense.
