There is definately some irony in the unemployed, castigating those who have the ability to employ others.

What is hilarious to me is the notion that someone has a birthright to be employed by others at terms to thie personal liking.

obs are all about creating value in excess of costs. The OWSers appear to believe that labor is valued at a minimum of $18/hr. Add on costs of government mandates (Social security, healthcare, etc) and it may cost an employer in the range of $25-$30/hr to emply someone if the "living wage" premise is adopted. For an emplyer to consider this arrangement seriously, the added value of an employees labor would probably have to be about $35/hr.

Wonder why no one is hiring?

Well George, you don't seem to realize that demand creates jobs. I guess you would have been against Henry Ford paying his workers enough so that they could buy his products. That's how far back we have gone. Troglodytes, such as yourself, want to wrap themselves up in their own greed. Nice, real nice.

OWS is the fight of good against evil. You are evil.

And you a a retard. Seriously don't bring your preschool insults here. No one was talking to you, and you've offered nothing. Go back to your troll cave.

I guess you never heard of an economy structured for jobs. It's a choice. Do we want an economy in which working class people need to work two jobs to get by? Do we want both the father and mother of a family to have to work? These are all controllable. Left to itself capitalism always degenerates to a dog eat dog world and megapolises like Rio and Mexico City with an oasis of Sky People surrounded by teeming, starving, thieving masses.

Actually I don't think you are a Sky Person, you English isn't very good. So I guess you are a wannabe.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to hit the like button for you so this comment is more visible.

You know, you day traders have a problem. You all like to make threats, give orders etc. But we're all disembodied posters here. You can only tell someone to go away if they are on your property or you are able to intimidate them. Neither situation applies here of course. You're very odd. But thanks for playing.

Here is an exercise for you. Take the minimum wage and apply it to your current situation. Does it pay for all that you need? Not all that you want but just what you need, safe roof overhead, food to eat, a trip to the Dr. every now and then. You see thats the rub it doesn't you would have to find 2 other people to live with just to get out of the ghetto. Now some people respond to this with well minimum wage jobs are just for kids or well let them go to school so they can get a better job. Fact is if you are on minimum wage you can not afford to go to school, and even if you did the type of jobs being created are not high paying anyway. I have never had to work for minimum wage but even some of the 8 or 9 dollar an hour jobs that I held would not pay for much especially with kids. I am not asking for a free ride I am not asking for anything unreasonable if I expect to be able to live on what I make working for a living. I worked two jobs most of my adult life just to get my kids grown. I miss the time that I should have been home with them but could not be because of the need to work two jobs. The sad thing to me is that a lot of wealthy people choose to have two incomes when one of the parents could have been staying home raising the next generation but due to poor teacher salaries and the need for consumer goods it seems that that is no longer a respected way to live your life.

I always feel so sorry for the ultra-wealthy when they're castigated. It must slightly irritate them when they breakfast at The Waldorf.

Allowing for exceptions I think that these guys with the waspy double names - johnsmith, ect., appear to be trolls.

"Castigating those who have the ability to create jobs..."

For not doing so when they have the money to is simply good self interest.

"Occupy Sama-Sama (Together) is an umbrella nickname for several Occupy movements currently happening in Malaysia – Occupy Dataran, Occupy Penang and the upcoming Occupy Kota Bharu.

Occupy Dataran, the oldest among the lot, has been happening every Saturday night since 30th July, before Occupy Wall Street, and unlike Occupy Wall Street’s financial reform agenda, Occupy Dataran seems to be focused at the moment on exploring direct participatory democracy through people’s assemblies."

Minoan Crete

The Minoan Bull-leaper sculpture at the British Museum.

Bull-leaping is thought to have been a key ritual in the religion of the Minoan civilization in Bronze Age Crete. As in the case of other Mediterranean civilizations, the bull was the subject of veneration and worship. Representation of the Bull at the palace of Knossos is a widespread symbol in the art and decoration of this archaeological site.[4]

The Minoan civilization was a Bronze Age civilization that arose on the island of Crete and flourished from approximately the 27th century BC to the 15th century BC.[1]

The assumption, widely debated by scholars, is that the iconography represents a ritual sport and/or performance in which human athletes literally vaulted over bulls as part of a ceremonial rite.

The Minoan civilization was a Bronze Age civilization that arose on the island of Crete and flourished from approximately the 27th century BC to the 15th century BC.[1]
