The best solution is to become productive, create your own Job, needn't be employment, and then get on with a life instead of wasting away..
I just love these posts by people who cannot spell or capitalize correctly.
Job with a capital J is the person in the Bible who was persecuted by God.
Occupying and protesting is not a bad career when all else fails and the system itself is in such crisis. It may be a memorable way to spend one's life.
There is some merit in what you say....as a last resort.
But the last resort is way down the road.
You may well surprise your own self if you were to set out each day to earn your way in life by creating an income for yourself by working.
Start small and be surprised at the self esteem you receive from not being just another bludger.
Listen. I suspect that you are a conservative or right leaning person. You are an embarrassment. People are rightfully ticked off at Wall Street and the big banks. They have benefited and continue to benefit from government largesse, a kind of corporate socialism which is pervasive. Yes, people should work and that includes the banks. People should not take handouts and that includes the banks (especially when many of their employees are receiving multi-million dollar bonuses). And the reason they want to occupy Wall Street is because they feel (correctly) that our government has been occupied by Wall Street. One doesn't need to look farther than our wonderful President's cabinet to see that he is owned by Wall Street. It's OK to get rich from your own hard work and risk taking. However, it is obvious that many of the largest corporations (especially financial institutions) do not have to worry about the vagaries of the free market. They have found a way to avoid any risk at all: buy off the politicians. This is very far from our free market ideal.
Suspicions incorrect.
Go forth and learn how to create your own income from your own initiatives.
Don't be a labor servant, make your own avenues and build them far and wide.
Just go and do it.
I;m retired, My advice is to those just starting out, Apparently, both the AFL-CIO and the SEIU are looking for people to start out as entry level organizers who have experience in OWS,
Who do you think started the big companies you so against? Multimillionares don't just climb down a ladder from Heaven. I'm not right, left, center, or tea bagger(I like coffee), but you have to wonder what the hell is the end game?? Occupy Wall Street, fine. Now you're Occupying Broadway, Portland, Florida(damn orange giants), UC Davis(damn beer pong elitists), Napa, Oakland(like they don't have enough to be mad about), and other locations that have absolutely nothing to do with the original cause. All they do is eat, sleep, party, go to concerts(maybe I should get in on this, sounds like a good time!!)- which by the way are put on by rich people renting space so other rich people can sing to/mock the poor huddled masses. 'cause let's face it, at the end of the day, they get into teir limo, take their private jet and peace out to the next show, while protestors lose jobs, money, and housing, 'cause they want to yell and scream without anyone to offer a real solution to their very petty and self absorbed problem. People have been Occupying for decades now. They're called bums.
