that's because most of them got a nice education here in the states
Its not a bad thing for them or us depending how you look at it
Yes an education that strangely has not translated to the benefit of American graduates apparently as corporations claim they need to hire offshore for the work that they have yet to outsource.

I can tell you what i see at my university. Those who are from another country work harder than most of the american kids. They don't go out and party like we do. They stay in and study. Our college kids have turned into a joke i see my peers and think what a bunch of slobs these people are and will be.
Now most of my friends who are Chinese have to go back and work for their government for x amount of time. Many of them are getting industrial and technology degrees where we are getting more social degrees. We are fighting a war and we are losing.
We need to redo this education system. We shouldn't send everyone to college and hope for the best. we should send the best and get results. This can be done in a multitude of ways but they need to be implemented now. I see our future and they dont deserve what we will have in store for them.
I wonder what motivation those kids ( foreign ) are working under?
Do you think that some of them have been sent here with promised success for performance?
Has someone made it very clear that they had best not fuck around while they are here on someones dime?
Are they hoping to remain here and leave a nasty situation behind?
So many questions so many possibilities.
OH - BTW?
Not everyone wants to go to college or would benefit from it. College is only one area of higher learning until the curriculum expands to be all inclusive to societies needs. There is also the wide world of technical manufacturing that is not addressed in a full spectrum in colleges.
The education requirements of this modern world are diverse and college is not the be all end all in education though that is what has always been firmly pushed.
I think if they fail out they are punished by the government
I know college isn't for everyone and we have plenty of jobs for people who want to be skilled labors. Schools should be pushing this just as much as college
I agree a failing in the educational system.
Failure of the current system is not in dispute.
That is why the good people are gathering in places like this to discuss moving forward.
