Companies are hoarding nearly $2 trillion in cash. So why aren't they hiring? http://on.wsj.com/n3pfUx via @WSJ
Because they don't really need to increase labor to increase efficiency anymore.

I have the same problem. I cannot work as a doctor's assistant in the operating room either. But I do have a job.

I own a small company and will only start hiring again when the work picks up. From now on, however, I will be VERY careful in who I hire. As part of the interview process, I will sneak in my version of a litmus test to be sure I never hire anyone that ever supported OWS or Obama. I'm not alone. Good luck with your future.

Paste it on your forehead for all we as small business owners care. You have no clue how hard we work, how much we value our employees, and how much of a team we are - even more so in this economy.
It would be discrimination if I required all applicants to HAVE BEEN a member of OWS - see, there are a few freedoms that we cherish even more than you do.
As I stated previously, you operate on the basis of fear - very good example in your post to bereal and iRepresent. everything that I have seen you say or propose, is based on fear and fear along.
I do not fear you and I do not fear the future of this Nation.

Only as many as I reply to which you have posted. From that point, I live a great life, and not suspicious of others that post things like "RENTCHECK" which is an apartment finder business etc. If you don't have a clue about this either, that means that they HELP people locate apartments often in areas that they are not familiar with or for companies that want to place an employee in a specific area temporarily or for transfer.
You are way out of your league in what you are posting - You really should stick to what you know something about. If that is only FEAR, at least put it into a context other than rental property.
Could I answer any other questions, that you might have regarding the rental property business.

In which case YOUR time is not worth much.
Now you know why there is a difference in the amounts paid to different works in the USA. AND actually, how the wealthy became wealthy. Those people simply knew how to do it and I for one don't . I really don't want to talk too much about that kind of thing, it is out of my league and only makes me look pretty dumb because I was not smart enough to figure out how to become wealthy.
But to show you that I am not dumb like you think - we had over 14,000 sales at our one WalMart today (We have two and another one in the plans). I have a small business here in town and I figure that if I can get two people out of every 1,000 that WalMart draws into this town, to come by my store and if I can get 50% of them to make a purchase in the range of $100-$400, I will be wealthy. I have done that for over 30 years and I love it.
People can rant and rave against the big guys all they want. I only want WalMart to draw a few more thousand into town every day and I can retire in a few years.

Way too many made up ignorant phonies on these forums who think they have all the answers, when they don't even have a clue what the question is.
I really have lead a sheltered life for the past 40 years. I really didn't know there were so many people like this out in society today. Thank OWS for bringing that FACT to light if nothing else.
BlueRose wouldn't last 2 minutes into a 30 minute interview with our business and even less time if actually given the job. I work with a really great bunch of people and their families not to mention the other thousands that live in this same area.
The only fear that we live under is BlueRose coming to town to really mess things up.
I think there was great wisdom behind the creators of our Constitution and other documents. A great example of that wisdom if the right of "free speech" given to all of us - BUT not the "freedom to open our mouth".

PS - looks like BlueRose wilted a little under the truth, deleted a bunch of her posts and went somewhere else to spread the FEAR. Have one on me, coffee, iced tea, eggnog, or maybe something a little more fearfull.

A corporation is unlike government. They can't hire people just to be nice and meet the demands on occupiers. They do need to make some money to pay back their investors. Otherwise, they cease to exist. The government, on the other hand, doesn't care what they spend on personnel and their benefits because they will always have some sort of "occupiers" demanding more. The government can hire untold numbers and pay them anything they want because they have no completion. The federal government employs over 2 million people to do god knows what. I guess to make our lives miserable. So now for every 2 dollars they spend, they need to borrow nearly one dollar (likely from China and other ill reputes) . The federal reserve is printing money so fast it is stunning. At some point we will reap the results and it won't be pretty. Think about the millions of baby boomers who saved no money for their retirement now saying you all need to pay for it!! Have you ever noticed that the ones who contribute the least to society demand the most from it?
