its a bit old but i found it interesting. http://www.commondreams.org/newswire/2012/05/10-2 mostly because it gives an idea of what do locally and the dead line is still well ahead (see: resolution week). it is also very easy to navigate.

I'd like to start a discussion on how to better the website/system that the ows uses.

personally have found it difficult to find information on upcoming local or national demonstrations. the best directory i've seen so far was for may day.

also a how to guide on getting started, what to do, where to find people would be helpful. i know everything is prob. buried somewhere so before you reply to this have somebody not familiar with the site find you this information.

also is a singular goal worth all the arguing or is the consensus enough? how about a voting system where these things can be voted in or out after they have been discussed? then an action plan can be laid out and the issue can be moved to its own page.

these endless battles to divide and weaken the ows. just like a good old politician would try to do. for the 99% there should be many goals and many different kinds of people.

Read the Rules

Citizens United was a movie with a political message. The supreme court correctly ruled that you can make a movie with a political message without being subject to election laws.

If the supreme court ruled against them, you would have to shut down all newspapers, radio shows, tv shows, magazines, websites, blogs, movies and everything else that had a political message.

That would be tyrannical.

I don't understand how anyone can support that.

the fact that things can be justified to be with in the law does not make them right. i believe that the whole ruling was an act against common good and that is why it needs to be overturned. instead of talking like a lawyer give a some examples on how that ruling will make this country a better place to live in the long run. and after all if the people believe that something will be detrimental to their way of life they should have the say so to change it.

bottom line: there is not one for profit corporation that throws money away. all their favors will be paid back with favors. that's corruption.

How do you justify a country where they shut down all websites, blogs, facebook posts, youtube videos, movies, tv stations, radio stations, newspapers, magazines and all the rest of the media that talk about politics?

I believe in free speech. I don't want to live in a country where you get locked up in jail for writing about politicians.

the irony is that it is the same entities that now put millions in adds are lobbying against your freedom of speech. if this was somehow separate from politics and didn't breed corruption i might be with you on this, but i'm not. please look at this link http://www.opednews.com/articles/Lobbying-Group-Asks-Suprem-by-Lee-Fang-120523-557.html

and its keeps going on another front, http://action.citizen.org/p/dia/action/public/?action_KEY=10608
