When You buy your items, tell them who you are and why you're there. Avoid corporate "big box" stores, and all other corporate outlets.
Do this all year long.
Yes, but the holidays are particularly important. If we all do this during the holidays it will make our presence and purpose keenly felt, rather than just dismissed as a downturn in the economy. We must make it a story that the media can't ignore.
And pay cash. That way no bank fees, no credit card fees.
That's right. Many corporations are no more than leagalized loan sharks. Think about the power of a national "debt repudiation day."
