Buddy Roemer is the only republican candidate who is addresses this county's biggest problem. You can buy politicians and corporations get away with paying no taxes etc. Haven't heard of him? That's because they've effectively barred him from participating in the race because he refuses to take any donations over 100 dollars and he refuses to use Super PACS. He has a plan to end corporate lobbying and tax loopholes and is the only republican or democrat candidate who doesn't have a Super PAC and only takes donations up to 100 dollars.

Buddy Roemer on the Issues:

  • Reforming Taxes: those making more than $100,000 would have an effective tax rate of 8.5 percent.

  • Balancing the Budget: modify social security and Medicare by slowly raising the eligibility age by one month each year for 24 years

  • Fighting Special Interests: prohibition of registered lobbyists participating in fundraisers

  • Creating Jobs: restore pride in the "Made in America" label, so that consumers have the choice of buying products that help employ their neighbors and encouraging American businesses to buy American

  • Strengthening National Defense: repatriate the production of military equipment

  • Energy: supports additional drilling, expansion of natural gas and nuclear power

  • Reforming Health Care: individuals must be allowed to buy insurance policies across state lines

Go to his website and read it for yourself.

While I applaud Buddy Roemer's courage... he is still in the wrong party, isn't he?

Why doesn't he become an independent?

Why don't the progressives unite and form their own party, which will inevitably take power one day?

The Justice Party is making the case for being a Third Party progressives can get behind. But it's up to actual Progressives to do their homework and decide whether or not you want to back the Justice Party or some other Third Party.

Progressives follow really old outdated and failed ideas from the 19th and 20th centuries. Should be called Regressives.

Some good ideas there. Too bad he is getting <1% in polls.

He is awesome ! I am not a conservative, but idc with him, I have even been making campaign calls for him. He says maybe I won't be the perfect president, but let me be a broom and sweep up Washington, so that one day we can have that perfect prescient, elected by the people not the corporations !

Anyone who breaks away from what the criminal elements of partisan politicians are doing repeatedly, is worth listening to.

Agreed that he should look at running on an independent ticket.

Glad to see this guy has some support on here. If you support him spread the word. And thank you for telling me about the Justice Party.

I love this guy. His Twitter account is hilarious. I'm not Conservative so I can't fully support him, but he is DEAD ON when it comes to getting money out of politics and government, and a lot of his policies that I don't agree with, I can at least admit he is being reasonable, which is more than I can say for any other Republican.

Since Roemer is making almost no impact in the GOP race, I would like to see a Left-Right Coalition between Buddy Roemer and Rocky Anderson. If you are a Roemer supporter please visit the Justice Party USA forum and lets discuss how we can work together.

I'm a supporter. Hoping he can make it into a debate and push these issues. He also wants to bring back Glass-Steagall.
