Doesn't Occupy have money? Are we using it wisely to promote stuff in commercials, twitter, facebook, youtube? That money can be used to generate more money to spread the word. Just wondering.

BoycottBlackFriday spread the word.

maybe internet group Anonymous could make some videos and give it an 'Op' name?

maybe someone Like Michael Moore would mention it?

Who would this hurt? Wal Mart? LOL They get enough people shopping there every other day that it wouldn't matter anyway. The businesses it would hurt are the very businesses OWS seems to think should just give out jobs. If you are PRO job creation, by all means, spend every dime you have. This is consumer based economy. The jobs come with increase in sales, or whatever the company does. People spending money makes companies need more people. It's not rocket science.

Boycotting the one day a year that EVERY company, large and small prays for is just stupid. Plain and simple.

Your right on target Jon, that's why it should be done. It's part of the conditioning we've been raised to believe in. Remove the $ from your forehead and show the world we're not mindless consumers. And I got news for you, your local businesses hardly make anything off Black Friday, they can't compete with the corporate power marketing, adds, commercials, campaigns, and sales. Shop locally, not Globally.
