While the government considers slashing money for social security, education, medicare and medicaid, be informed of the billions of dollars being poured into secret anti-terrorism efforts since 9/11.
These programs have no oversight from the public to ensure cost/benefit.
Private contractors in the anti terrorism business, whose ultimate goal is profit are multiplying like a cancer.
If you don't have time to read the book "Top Secret America: The Rise of the New American Security State," read the description and comments. Educate yourself on what portion of the pie is being devoted to these efforts. Demand public oversight.
