"H.J.Res.78 proposes to reverse Citizens United v FEC. Rep. Donna Edwards of Maryland sponsored this bill. It is the only bill that has been introduced to take steps towards "un-granting" corporations citizenship/people status. It was referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary on 9/12/11, where it's been sitting - being ignored- ever since. Don’t let it die in committee - PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION: https://wwws.whitehouse.gov/petitions/!/petition/reverse-scotus-ruling-citizens-united-v-fec-constitutional-amendment-supporting-hjres78/vWTGSMJX

Need 150 signatures for it to be publicly view-able on whitehouse.gov. Need 5000 signatures in order for it to be reviewed by the Whitehouse. PLEASE, HELP GET THE FIRST 150, SO IT WILL BECOME PUBLIC. (I'm sure it will get more than 5000, after that...) Corporations are NOT people! Keep it up Occupy Wall Street!!! "- papa pig from occupy maine on facebook

A bill that annuls a law or rule is always good, unless taken out of order which this one isn't. Knowing the politicians and their marriage to corporatism they will never pass this bill, however this is not a reason to not present it. If they reject the bill, it will be another show of what they really are.

I went to sign this petition. I signed in but wasn't able to sign the petition. I'll keep trying. Just thought you'd like to know. I also have a petition to End Exclusionary Zoning at http://wh.gov/gvP and would appreciate some signatures. Thanks.
