Why is it so desperately important that the republican party rules?
Something smells funny.
Is it because they are understood to be the guarantee of continuing military-industrial hegemony?

TPP = Corporate Coup In Disguise! See - http://www.nationofchange.org/trans-pacific-partnership-corporate-coup-disguise-1380720577 from which, I excerpt - 'Is it impossible to stop? Nope. There is also a broad, well-organized and politically experienced coalition of grassroots groups, which has stopped other deals and will do it again. We the people can protect our democratic rights from this threat of corporate usurpation.' Republicans or Democrats - The War Loving Corporations have been ruling us for too long! Never Give Up Exposing The Theft Of US Democracy! Occupy The Issues! + see http://www.nationofchange.org/headlines-capture-huge-demand-obamacare-across-country-first-day-rush-busy-start-strong-early-inte-0 Obamacare is far short of the ideal but may be a step towards it.

I'm thinking this government shutdown thing at the excuse of obama-care protest is really retribution on the Prez for going over to the light side by not attacking Syria and talking to Iran. The 1% is upset.

A quick study of the past military interventions over the last 100 years show it doesnt matter who is in charge. The lust for power by very insecure men is a never ending problem.
