Our society is against people robbing banks, but not banks robbing people. Batali for president.

So much for Freedom of Speech...

It appears that these particular banks don't just control money but also control public opinion.

The only thing that has changed since two weeks ago in relation to this man's business has been the result of his outspokenness albeit with a lack of finesse. His business practice has not changed, his product is just as good as it was but his personal opinion brought about a negative change.

Hmmm, but the logic I am viewing it appears it's is OK to have an opinion but not to let that opinion be known.

Yes, the bankers control everything ... we are all slaves ... I would also like to point out what happened in Greece when the prime minister was gone to put up the austerity package from the banks for a vote he was removed and Greece now has a major banker as prime minister who will oversee the transferring of state assets to the banks and more cuts in services and pay for the people.

Only within their sphere of influence, unfortunately that sphere has grown and continues to grow.

[-] 1 points by skizzy (445) 12 years ago

They have the power to create money out of nothing ... That is a pretty big sphere of influence on the world. They are using their monopoly money to buy up real assets that have real wealth.

[-] 2 points by PandoraK (1678) 12 years ago

...and it continues to grow.

No one said Freedom of Speech meant Freedom from consequences. He had every right to speak his opinion, and others have every right to react to that opinion by choosing to continue to support his business or not. No one said he didn't have the right to express himself.

[-] 1 points by skizzy (445) 12 years ago

But, obviously bankers are retaliating against his business because of his views. I wonder if they will take other measures against him. Just think about the out spoken people who's bosses receive phone calls from the bankers.

The consequences exceed the opinion expressed.

[-] 0 points by MeMyselfandI (85) 12 years ago

In your opinion. Obviously not in the opinion of others. I know if someone was to public compare me or my profession to Stalin or Hitler, the LAST thing I would do is ever give them another dime of my money. I imagine you would do the same thing.

[-] 1 points by skizzy (445) 12 years ago

Well i don't agree ... i don't care if you do a good job at whatever you do anonymous MeMyselfandI. I don't agree so i will use money, power and influence to track you down, destroy your business and make sure you can never work again. Sounds like the Soviet Union we will revoke your workers card

I am more likely to seek a resolution and explanation of why someone feels that way and if I can be convinced it has merit, seek ways to address the perceived fault.

The banksters have that right. Just as the American people have a right to vote out the politicians and laws that we find in the pockets of of Wall Street and the banksters. The people of Ohio did it this week. We can do the same across America next year.

64 sitting U.S. senators and 171 current Congress people we in Congress in 1999 and voted for S-900, The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Financial Services Modernization Act that caused the financial collapse of America.

I put them all on a web page: The Congress that Crashed America http://home.ptd.net/~aahpat/aandc/congcrash.html

Good luck with voting in a rigged system ... Who you going to vote for ? the lesser of two evils that both work for the same people ...

[-] 2 points by aahpat (1407) 12 years ago

It is only as rigged as the apathetic give them the winning margin.

If enough people vote against the corruption the margin bought by the corruption is neutralized.

Vote for alternatives. Since the Democrats and Republicans are offering no alternatives I am using the primaries to express my disaffection with them by WRITING-IN Elizabeth Warren. Wall Street and the banksters hate and fear her so i figure if enough people write-in her name for president across America it will send the gangsters a clear message.

I gave up ever voting for a winner so I use the ballot to express my political opinion in the WRITE-IN box. I write-in states like "End the Drug war" and I write-in alternative candidates who best reflect and respect my social justice values.

Elizabeth Warren is a democrat and she also works for the bankers they are not scared of her at all. The bankers are do not hate or fear her.

[-] 1 points by aahpat (1407) 12 years ago

You really do not know what your talking about.

[-] 1 points by skizzy (445) 12 years ago

Really she is not a democrat ? I really don't know what i am talking about ? Educate me please

[-] 1 points by skizzy (445) 12 years ago

Yes they do have that right... But we know why they are giving him negative reviews... hope people could give him some more positive reviews

Bravo for Batali. If the banksters could just have moderated their greed (kept Glass-Steagall, forbad OTC derivatives, kept human speed trading (no computer algorithms), etc.) the world's economy would never have crashed.

Apparently his political views has had an effect on the quality what he produces.

[-] 1 points by invient (360) 12 years ago

Yeah, if you are a business owner, you better have a good view of bankers... or else.
