Forum Post: AZ: Lawmakers OK more disclosure on lobbying

Sen. Steve Farley, D-Tucson, said the problem is the bill does not go far enough. He wants to alter current laws that require legislators to report annually any gifts they get to include travel, lodging and registration fees paid for them by others for conferences. That report also would spell out who is paying. Farley's measure specifically targets the American Legislative Exchange Council.

the AZ that just passed a law that a teacher can be fired for cursing !?!?!?

This is amazing! It's good to know there is some sanity in AZ But I can't believe Jan will sign this.
