Ayn Rand is indefensible. I can't imagine why anyone in their right mind would even try . . .

shrug

Hey zenmutt go plow some virtual snow. I hear the welfare office has extended hours this summer.

[-] 1 points by ZenDog (20547) from South Burlington, VT 1 year ago

You just joined today?

Must be taking over for hchc, huh.

How's that working out for ya?

[-] -3 points by Abby100 (-54) 1 year ago

Better than it is for you. get your check this month.

[-] 1 points by ZenDog (20547) from South Burlington, VT 1 year ago

You make me really really wish the pics I took this eve came out better.

It was a window display. I thought I could put up a forum post on it, just for fun, just to heckle hchc and more importantly, his handlers, you know.

So, I mean, I do have pics, and I can post them, but let me try to describe it for you, because really - the pics themselves don't really help.

Two shelves - left shelf lower than the right

reading left to right, bottom to top:

  • there is a wallet, with a squid on it
  • there is a poodle in a box, and a small piece of embroidery, with another dog image

  • Mr. and Ms. Muse - Bottle stoppers, in a box - and that is what they are, bottle stoppers.

  • A white box with a pair of blood red lips, female lips, poised just before a kiss, and the lipstick is running off the bottom lip - it has the distinct appearance of blood by the design of the runs.

So, you know, reading it sounds to me like it says -

the squid kids and zendog gave mr. & ms muse a kiss of death.

Sounds crazy I know. I know, I know. But I didn't put it in the window - it's just there.

A squid, a dog, a pair of bottle stoppers, and a kiss of death. Honest - I had nothing to do with the arrangement.

but I'm more than happy to pass it on in this case, because I really am one twisted fuck.

His whole crew is done. You watch. If you are half as well informed as he was, I'm sure you'll get to find out.

cya

[-] -2 points by Abby100 (-54) 1 year ago

that we agree on you are really one twisted fuck and I am not filling in for hchc.

[-] 1 points by ZenDog (20547) from South Burlington, VT 1 year ago

so that's why you and he comment at the same time?

Do I have to google the app that lets you control up to ten different aliases in a forum like this? I know I saw an article on it very recently . . .

.

Hey zenmutt go occupy Burlington I hear the legislature is going to lower the welfare payments. You are nothing but a loser, maybe if you had a job you could get laid instead of jerking off.

[-] 1 points by ZenDog (20547) from South Burlington, VT 1 year ago

you really are a sore looser, hchc, but that's alright because I know, I'm really not very sportsman like. I admit - I am an asshole.

I just can't help myself.

[-] -1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 1 year ago

Eh, not really. You are just a typical internet idiot.

[-] 1 points by ZenDog (20547) from South Burlington, VT 1 year ago

typical? you think so?

If' you are a cop, you have to admit it, don't you? I mean, isn't that the law?

Or do they have special laws down there in FLA . . . .

You have fun in Tampa.

[-] -2 points by Abby100 (-54) 1 year ago

I agree you are truly an asshole.

[-] 2 points by ZenDog (20547) from South Burlington, VT 1 year ago

I get it, get me worked up over here in hopes I'll get deranged on this thread.

I get it.

And I do understand.

Must be burning your network cost someone what - $100,000?

Ah well.

And you haven't packed up and moved on - guess that means no where to go, huh.

too bad.

Wat Tyler was a revolutionary who was a survivor of the Black Death and fought against a society that still practiced serfdom. You should probably change your name to, say, Balph Eubank, or some other milquetoast name like that. You guys' worst crisis might be losing your signal on your 4G phone while you are out there protesting. That little article there is a piece of propagandist horse shit that tries to completely avoid the issues that are on the ballot today. We cannot have a nation where almost 1/2 of the population doesn't pay taxes and howl and complain about the rich paying their fair share whatever the fuck that means.
There are those who genuinely need assistance, but I do not think that encompasses everyone sucking the government tit today. So why don't you take your head out of your ass and let's debate the issues at hand.

Which part is horseshit?

A. That Paul Ryan is a devotee of Ayn Rand?

B. That Ayn Rand wrote admiringly in her notebooks of William Edward Hickman?

C. That Hickman was a child murderer?

Rand had a clinically diagnosable personality order. You may admire sociopaths, Ryan may admire sociopaths, but I do not.

"almost 1/2 of the population doesn't pay taxes"

Come on Ted, make sure you aren't the one spreading horse shit here. Here are the facts about who pays what percentage of taxes.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/ezra-klein/post/the-taxes-americans-really-pay-in-two-graphs/2012/04/16/gIQA6o4yLT_blog.html

Somewhere along the line you have fallen into a propaganda trap planted and maintained for decades. Instead of loosening it's grip, you invite others to become trapped as well.

Here is another graph showing where the wealth is really going. In the last 40 years the bottom 90% of the population received just 3% of the increase in wealth.

"I SWEAR BY MY LIFE AND MY LOVE OF IT THAT I WILL NEVER LIVE FOR THE SAKE OF ANOTHER MAN, NOR ASK ANOTHER MAN TO LIVE FOR MINE"

The truth here is that you are likely living for the sake of that wealthy man. And he surely does not live for yours.

[-] 1 points by flip (5057) 1 year ago

1/2 the population doesn't pay taxes - what are you smoking. go to google and tell me what their income is then tell me what they pay in taxes of all sorts - fica, sales gas etc then please restate your point. while you are at it why don't you try to find out who is really sucking taxpayer money - come on you can do it. you will have to think a bit - 54% of taxes go to the military so you might start with haliburton.

[+] -5 points by SteveKJR (-497) 1 year ago

Over 1/3 of the population is getting some kind of support from the government. That means in a country with 300 million people 100 million are being subsadised.

We have around 170 million people in this country who work - they are supporting those 100 million in some form or fashion

As long as the Obimination continually uses "class warfare" and "wealth envy" things aren't going to change.

Another QE3 isn't going to solve the problem except burden the 170 million who have to pay more to support those who can't figure out that they need to learn to be independent and support themselves.

[-] 3 points by jrhirsch (4714) from Sun City, CA 1 year ago

Real income for the lower 90% has increased just 3% in the last 40 years while productivity has risen 80%. Who is supporting who?

Let me ask you a question. Whom are you making the comparison against?

Are you comparing a person who works with his hands to a person who owns or manages a busines?

Are you comparing a person who works as a secretary in an office to a person who owns or manages a business?

Are you comparing a person who works at McDonalds to a person who owns or manages a busines?

Are you comparing a person who is a Office Manager to a person who owns or manages a business

Because a lot depends on what position a person holds when you make comparisons.

If you compare a person working at McDonalds to a person who is an office manager there will be a wage disparity.

I am not disagreeing with what you claim, but I have yet to see any statistics on what part of the working class is is being compared to the 1% who claim to have all the money.

Could you clarify this for me -

[-] 1 points by jrhirsch (4714) from Sun City, CA 1 year ago

The thin blue line at the bottom of the represents the bottom 90% of workers. This group includes people who make roughly $80,000 or less. The light pink includes those making roughly $350,000 or more.

Even a business owner making a good living of $60,000 a year, or a college graduate with a masters degree are still in the lower 90% of workers.

The highly educated have not shared a proportionate share of the wealth their advanced knowledge helped create. The invisible hand of inflation masks the reality that while the number of dollars paid may increase, the value of those dollars has not.
