Every case of economic downturn in history has been fixed by raising taxes. This usually has an effect of putting a band-aid on the cut and stopping the bleeding until the wound heals. Historically, austerity has never worked; it only causes a deflationary depression. Why would the GOP want to cause a double recession. They created the 1st one, now they want to engineer a second one. Meanwhile destroying social services aka insurances that we pay into. Looting that money for more taxbreaks for the wealthy. The Nazi's had a lexicon to destroy the Jews, Package meant Group of Jews being shipped off,up the river aka Death Camps. The lexicon to dehumanize Americans by the GOP is entitlements, hippies, mobs, sound familiar.

Exactly. Communism is seriously the only way to go. Chile was thriving when it had communism. Capitalism has RAPED our country left and right. The only ones who are not suffering through this financial crisis is Cuba and North Korea. Those countries have a 100% employment rate. When will America WAKE UP?
The elite no longer see themselves as Americans. Unpatriotic and anti-the-American-way-of-life (a middle class majority), they want to reduce us to third world status. Unrestrained power to loot, that is their goal. That's why they are called RATpublicans.

The people who fought in the American Revolution are dead and can't form opinions. However, I would say people alive from WW2 are ashamed of you because you are supporting what they lost friend and limb protecting.
We have gone off track since WW2, which was fought for freedom and democracy. OWS will bring America and its military back in line with American values.

No, it's not comparable. Calling people names, however, is the beginning of the dehumanization process which, in the case of the Jews, ended with the death camp horrors.
Consider this. The income tax is a relatively new encroachment created by government. How do you explain our getting along just fine before it was implemented? Are you of the opinion that government should grow at the expense of more productive sectors of society as some kind of "counter-balance"? If so, shouldn't government also shrink as the productive sectors shrink?

its funny but drug dealers dont pay taxes. neither does the illegal immigrants. only taxes they pay are the sales tax when they buy something. i think this is the way taxes should be done. income tax is just a way for the government to see how much money everyone is makeing. another thing. why wouldnt they drop taxes on themselves. hell almost all of congress are rich. if i had the power to do away with my taxes i would too.
No taxes equals no schools, no roads, do u really want to go back to being isolated farmers.
