I feel the only ones who can use their resources, networks, and population effectively would be college students. Most of the social change and awareness brought out throughout history has been driven or heavily assisted with the aid or leadership of the college student population. Sadly, students are apathetic. I worked at 6 different colleges and everytime the tuition would increase the students would complain but not actively get involved with trying to institute change or rally for the cause.
I do think a specific list of demands, a leader for this cause who represents these issues would be best.
I also think that we need to get more specific. I feel that there is some confusion about the root causative factors that may be hindering our ability to provide a consistent, streamlined message. I hope everyone will watch this because I think it can help all of us:
