Forum Post: anyone think the states are smart enough to call eachother to compare votes this year?

a little check and balance Idea the states could call eachother and compare with the "official election results" to see if our votes even count. Im guessing they are too dumb to check with each other. What do you think?
I don't think it's a question of them being too dumb. Perhaps doing so would expose the sham that is our current voting system. Perhaps?
