Forum Post: Any way to look for posts or sort by topic?

As I loook through this forum, I can't find any way to look for posts by topic, author, etc. Can we do it? Maybe I'm just missing it. On the OccupyTogether.org site they have some of that ability but still not great.

Yes, we desperately need a way to search through these posts. If there is a way, I haven't found it yet.

here is a search feature

I haven't used it enough to comment on how functional it is

It's a google search of the site. It works pretty well. Like Google ;-)

Sure, if ya don't mind surrendering your soul to the machine ^_^

I'd really like to see an "All Posts and Comments by This User" section on the user pages.

I guess it must be scary for conspiracy theorists such as yourself who believe Google is controlled by Reptilian Overlords who tunnel their way every morning from their lair near the Earth's core to their desks in the Oval office. I don't partake in such confabulations.

Of course, writing comments here is already an act of surrendering to the machine. Your comments say more about you then your search habits. For example, I already know you spend more than half of your Internet time on conspiracy websites just by reading your comments.

When did I say I believe that google is controlled by Reptilian Overlords who tunnel their way every morning from their lair near the Earth's core to their desks in the Oval office?

I don't seem to recall having said that.

Please refer me to the post where I indicated that, or kindly retract your claim.

If you are brave enough, use the Google link above to search the forum.

I performed this search:

http://ows.superunion.org/results/?q=reptilian%20overlord

However, I don't see anywhere in that list where I said anything that might have given you that impression. Infact, since my posts asking you about your tendency to leap to these wild unsupported conclusions have not yet been spidered, there aren't ANY posts or comments by me in that list at all.

I DID, however, notice an almost shocking number entries amongst the 3 pages of results in which you were discussing such things.

I also noticed a comment by you which I had not yet seen, which stated (quoting)

ScrewyL is going to come here and tell us this is evidence the Reptilian Overlords oversaw the destruction of the WTC towers from afar.

So apparently, not one, not two, but three! retractions will be forthcoming shortly, I trust...

Do you or do you not believe in Reptilian Overlords?

[-] 1 points by ScrewyL (809) 12 years ago

There is thus far, no question; I have never indicated that I do, or seriously discussed such things, so it would appear that I either :

  • do not, or
  • do not consider it very important

You however, bring it up quite often in a variety of contexts, causing one to wonder just how severe your paranoia may be since you seem to see them stalking you everywhere.

Still waiting patiently for your retraction(s).
