If you're free at noon today, please come join us to rally - bring a "No Fracking" sign - it's crucial to show the media that New Yorkers are opposed to hydraulic fracturing in our state, because Governor Cuomo is about to sell us out, and once he does it'll be too late to protect our drinking water. We're meeting at the Sheraton at 7th Ave., where Cuomo will be holding meetings today. Please help us show the media how many of us care about keeping our water clean! In compliment - From The Working Families Party:
This is the news we've been dreading. A CBS News report says that the Department of Environmental Conservation is set to announce its decision on fracking by the end of the month.[1]
Fortunately, there's hope. Governor Cuomo says that he has made "no final decision" about whether to allow fracking.[2]
Governor Cuomo can still stop this dangerous process from going forward. But we have just one more chance to convince the Governor to act.
Sign our petition today and tell Governor Cuomo to use his power to stop fracking and protect our drinking water.

More than 30,000 people have already signed our emergency petition, but it's not enough. Once you've signed, please help us spread the word. Tell your friends and neighbors about the dangers of fracking and have them sign, too.
New York is worth more than the gas under our feet.
Thanks,
-Dan Cantor, WFP

Signed. Well done. Again Nevada1
Thank you VQ, Hoping Cuomo, joins our side.
I suppose he will do some half measure that will not satisfy anyone. I went by the protest today.
Thanks Nevada1. Signed - tweeted.
I added the following to my communication ( people add your thoughts as well ) :
Fracking is irresponsible it is a destruction/poisoning of our environment it is a threat to our health and a threat to our drinking water.
Fracking for oil or LNG is also unnecessary as we have other power/fuel technology available for implementation NOW TODAY that is clean and non-polluting.
Kick Fossil Fuels and technology to the waste bin.
It is all here and ready to use - and this is just what I have stumbled across.
Spread the word.
Green Tech. New and improved - now with Liquid Metal Battery for efficient power storage and distribution.
This is where we should be going: Green Energy we have the technology we just need to use it. This is what I am talking about. A clean future to be implemented NOW!
