Review by Peter Debruge: "An eye-opening indictment of the way big business spins the media and rigs the courts to protect itself from so-called frivolous lawsuits, Susan Saladoffs Hot Coffee is a solid if not especially cinematic public-interest exhibit on how citizens are losing access to Americas civil justice system."

the only reason for the equation >corporations = people< is their goal of achieving the right to unlimited "freedom of speech". they want to buy politicians. but the truth is they don't have to anymore:

http://www.vanityfair.com/society/features/2011/05/top-one-percent-201105.print By Joseph E. Stiglitz, Nobel-price-Winner.

"Virtually all U.S. senators, and most of the representatives in the House, are members of the top 1 percent when they arrive, are kept in office by money from the top 1 percent, and know that if they serve the top 1 percent well they will be rewarded by the top 1 percent when they leave office. By and large, the key executive-branch policymakers on trade and economic policy also come from the top 1 percent. When pharmaceutical companies receive a trillion-dollar gift—through legislation prohibiting the government, the largest buyer of drugs, from bargaining over price—it should not come as cause for wonder. It should not make jaws drop that a tax bill cannot emerge from Congress unless big tax cuts are put in place for the wealthy. Given the power of the top 1 percent, this is the way you would expect the system to work."

As American citizens become more aware of those who are buying politicians - which must require that corporate entities, in and of themselves, NOT be considered persons with the ability to exercise First Amendment Rights by funneling vast sums of money into political campaigns to buy politicians to serve the corporations - then "we the people" will be able to truly elect a representative government. This will require the passage of the Human Worth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America. Learn more at: http://occupywallst.org/forum/human-worth-amendment/

well, the judges are already bought too. otherwise they would stand on the side of the people and not on the side of corporations.

if you want to see what happens to those judges who try to work against the corporations, watch the documentary:
