America's Hidden History ...

The Plot To Overthrow FDR.

The Plot To Overthrow FDR reveals how, inspired by political trends in Germany and Italy, this group conceived of a plan to either overthrow the newly-elected president or force him to take orders from them. They envisioned a paramilitary organization of disgruntled WWI veterans as the force to intimidate the government. The man they chose to inspire and lead this veteran's army was retired Marine General Smedley D. Butler ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smedley_Butler / http://warisaracket.org/ )

When Franklin Delano Roosevelt won the Presidency in 1932, many Americans looked to his bold New Deal plans as the way out of the dark days of the Depression. But a powerful group of financiers and industrialists saw his economic policies as a threat.

Further to the above, please consider setting 75 minutes aside to watch the following documentary film :

The 'Fourth World War' - is a brief, documentary of radical resistance to global capitalism

Despite the titanic struggles of dispossessed peoples around the world, the wealth of nations continues to reside in fewer and fewer hands. The economies of poor countries collapse under vicious IMF policies, and capitalism's global 'clubs' thrive ever and ever upward. Meanwhile, people keep struggling, ultimately downward.

This film is the story of men and women around the world who resist being annihilated in this war.

I can't understand why these 'evildoers', along with the Wall St. interests backing Hitler, were not sufficiently punished. It would have changed history if they had truly been called to account.

True that ! 'They' were "not sufficiently punished" then because they 'owned' those that would've been their would be punishers !! Corruption then has metastasised into what we have now !!!

because they do not need to break any laws to take all the money

In this case they absolutely broke laws and paid little price for having done so.

I doubt the issues

of unfair wealth distribution will be solved by these cases

"And Now for Something Completely Different" ...

Monty Python's - "Galaxy Song"

A little song about the universe and how insignificant we are. From the film 'The Meaning of Life' :

Lyrics :

Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's evolving

And revolving at nine hundred miles an hour,

That's orbiting at nineteen miles a second, so it's reckoned,

A sun that is the source of all our power.

The sun and you and me and all the stars that we can see

Are moving at a million miles a day

In an outer spiral arm, at forty thousand miles an hour,

Of the galaxy we call the 'Milky Way'.

Our galaxy itself contains a hundred billion stars.

It's a hundred thousand light years side to side.

It bulges in the middle, sixteen thousand light years thick,

But out by us, it's just three thousand light years wide.

We're thirty thousand light years from galactic central point.

We go 'round every two hundred million years,

And our galaxy is only one of millions of billions

In this amazing and expanding universe.

The universe itself keeps on expanding and expanding

In all of the directions it can whizz

As fast as it can go, at the speed of light, you know,

Twelve million miles a minute, and that's the fastest speed there is.

So remember, when you're feeling very small and insecure,

How amazingly unlikely is your birth,

And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up in space,

'Cause there's bugger all down here on Earth !!!
