The United states just attacked Pakistan for no reason, Pakistan was our ally in Afghanistan. They were letting NATO pass through their country and even allowed NATO to have a base. We are one scizzo partner, how does any nation trust the U.S.

Yeah! Warbama 2012!

[-] 2 points by JoeTheFarmer (2654) 12 years ago

You make it sound like this is something new. We have been doing this for years. The US has had over 280 drone attacks in Pakistan since 2004.

We are using drones and cruise missiles in Yemen, Somalia, LIbya,

We dropped over $500 million worth of US missiles on Libya.

And by the way, While other countries are pat of NATO, the forces are basically controlled by the US.

[-] 2 points by kingscrosssection (314) 12 years ago

The U.S. has a say in what goes on but we are under the command of NATO. Or did I get that wrong?

[-] 1 points by JoeTheFarmer (2654) 12 years ago

Well that is not what I was talking about. I was talking about missiles launched from US ships paid for by US citizens.

Also, for all intensive purposes, NATO in a sense reports to the US. The Supreme Allied Commander Europe is one of the two strategic commanders for NATO and the commanding officer of Allied Command Operations (ACO). The current SACEUR is Admiral James Stavridis. He is responsible to NATO's Military Committee, the highest military authority in NATO, for the overall direction and conduct of military operations for NATO.

SACEUR, a United States Flag or General officer, leads all NATO military operations and is dual-hatted as Commander US European Command

That's why America is losing all its allies and its economy is ruining. It's not a foreign policy and in a little time will be isolated from the world.

[-] 1 points by Thrasymaque (-2138) 12 years ago

When you exit America, you'll realize you already are isolated from the world.

[-] 1 points by Bellaciao29 (99) 12 years ago

I don't understand you. I'm not speaking about people, but the States. Pakistan is now allied to China. The supplies to the soldiers aren't going to reach them anymore, so they will be compelled to leave Afghanistan, where the EuroAsiatic Union will build a nuclear missilisic system. If the US soldiers hadn't killed without a reason a lot of Pakistan people, now USA would have two more allies. Thrasymaque, before leaving a comment, ask for informations.

[-] 1 points by Thrasymaque (-2138) 12 years ago

US should close its military bases all around the world and ask its soldiers to come home.

[-] 1 points by Bellaciao29 (99) 12 years ago

Perhaps I had misunderstood you. I agree perfectly with you and this is the opinion of the 99% of people in the world. So we've to throw away the governors in every Country, before they reduce the planet to a quagmire. Wherever people are more intelligent than their leaders.

[-] 0 points by Thrasymaque (-2138) 12 years ago

Quagmire is an elegant work I had not read in a long time. Thank you for reminding me of its existence.

If we take over US first, we'll have access to their military toys. We can then use these to throw away the governors of every other country. A coup of coups. I don't think it will work though. It seems to far fetch an idea. How do you suggest we do this? How can we possibly throw out all the governors of the world?

[-] 1 points by Bellaciao29 (99) 12 years ago

There no problem, Thrasymaque, and we don't need new ideas. The violente throwing out of all the governors of the world is just a question of time. There are thousands of insurgents all over the world ready to take the place of the corrupted men who qualify themselves politicians. I read these news every day on the newspapers on line of the western and estearn nations. The world is deeply changed, but the politicians haven't realized that yet.

[-] 0 points by Thrasymaque (-2138) 12 years ago

"There no problem, Thrasymaque, and we don't need new ideas."

Then why are we here? If there's no problem and nobody needs new ideas, we should be having a party! Where do you live? Do you want me to throw a barbecue on the beach? I'm in Bali. Come over, let's have a party the world will never forget. Invite the occupiers in your city as well. They don't need to camp anymore, everything is dandy. Bring some girls! It's party time!

[-] 1 points by Bellaciao29 (99) 12 years ago

It's not a question to have a party. The fact is that the world's never changed as in this period of history. If the politicians will realize that or not is the same thying. Are the men who follow the facts and not the facts that follow the men.

you know what they say . . .

friendly fire isn't

and it doesn't matter which side of the hill it comes from.

America has become a self destructive nation not only to its people but to the rest of the world.

[-] 1 points by OWSWhat (66) 12 years ago

US is giving billions to those diaper heads and they need to be cut off. We have no say, what the Gov does with our money at all

[-] 1 points by PandoraK (1678) 12 years ago

How about a bit of accuracy from us?

From an AP feed.

WASHINGTON (AP) — NATO and Pakistani forces may have attacked one another in a tragic case of mistaken identity — each thinking the other side was Taliban, according to the first battlefield accounts after the worst incident of fratricide since the Afghan war began.

First paragraph.

[-] 1 points by Bellaciao29 (99) 12 years ago

You aren't informed, Pandorak. NATO and Pakistan aren't longer friends. Pakistan has become a friend of China now. Americans know the reality less than Italians.

[-] 1 points by PandoraK (1678) 12 years ago

I replied with the first paragraph of the article not opinion.

I know full well what the situation is between NATO and Pakistan but fear mongering is not conductive to anything but fear.

[-] 1 points by Peretyatkov (241) from город Пенза, Пензенская область 12 years ago

Way to understanding

Pakistan has nuclear weapons.

[-] 1 points by badconduct (550) 12 years ago

Canada has nukes too, they just aren't "Canadian", they are British or American, but on Canadian soil and most likely armed and pointed.

[-] 1 points by Peretyatkov (241) from город Пенза, Пензенская область 12 years ago

Canada is reliable country. I am here troubling - the prospects of North Korea.

[-] 1 points by badconduct (550) 12 years ago

The questions are. A. Do nukes even work? The true nuclear missile has never been tested, only the atomic bomb. B. Who will be willing use a nuke? North Korea doesn't have long range nuclear missiles, only short range at best; which would have a negative impact on their environment.

[-] 2 points by Peretyatkov (241) from город Пенза, Пензенская область 12 years ago

This is - yes. But today, the danger even not from of war. In case of accidental explosion, the planet may break into pieces.

[-] 0 points by badconduct (550) 12 years ago

Good point. Fukushima. http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/story/2011/03/16/pickering-nuclear-leak.html

You have to question the storage security and safety of their handling. I never thought that a nuclear accident would be a bigger disaster than a nuclear attack.

Very good point.

[-] 2 points by Peretyatkov (241) from город Пенза, Пензенская область 12 years ago

Thanks! I hope, God - saves Earth!

[-] -1 points by Thrasymaque (-2138) 12 years ago

The planet could not break into pieces from an accidental explosion. It would be horrible for the atmosphere and the radiation and it would make a big whole, but the planet would remain in one piece. Earth as already been hit with huge asteroids that are equal or more powerful than atomic bombs. Jupiter got hit in its passed by mega huge asteroids and is still in one piece. You would need an amazing force to break up the Earth.

[-] 1 points by Peretyatkov (241) from город Пенза, Пензенская область 12 years ago

Suppose. But, the United States are not will be more! You will feel better from this?

[-] 0 points by Thrasymaque (-2138) 12 years ago

Nuclear accidents are always dangerous and of course very harmful. Are you from the Chernobyl generation? My point was simply that the planet would not break into pieces. Of course, the damage would be horrendous.

[-] 2 points by Peretyatkov (241) from город Пенза, Пензенская область 12 years ago

I, too far from the United States. But the planet, we have one with you. We need to take care of Earth!

[-] 0 points by Thrasymaque (-2138) 12 years ago

I agree. Nuclear weapons should all be dismantled. Are you in Russia? Where?

[-] 2 points by Peretyatkov (241) from город Пенза, Пензенская область 12 years ago

Penza. Povolje. 800 km from Moscow to South-East. Let's save the World! Together!

[-] 0 points by Thrasymaque (-2138) 12 years ago

OK. Come to Bali to meet me. There are many Russians here now. We can make a conference and plan the dismantlement together. We'll go look for beautiful girls later that night.

[-] 3 points by Peretyatkov (241) from город Пенза, Пензенская область 12 years ago

Thank you very much for the invitation! Wife will not let me )))))))))))))))

[-] 0 points by Thrasymaque (-2138) 12 years ago

I'm married too. Bring your wife over!

[-] 1 points by Bellaciao29 (99) 12 years ago

It's no true, badcontact. It's only propaganda. North Korea is one of the nuclear States more advanced in the world and has built thousands of bunker under its soil in order to defend its citoyens from an attack of the Western World.

[-] 1 points by badconduct (550) 12 years ago

It's not true North Korea has nukes? What about the time they tested a nuke, and said "We have nukes"? http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/may/25/north-korea-hiroshima-nuclear-test

[-] 1 points by Bellaciao29 (99) 12 years ago

Don't let you be misunderstood. I've told that North Korea has nukes and it's one of the more advanced nuclear States in the world.

[-] 2 points by badconduct (550) 12 years ago

I understand what you are saying now. I thought you said North Korea does not have nuclear weapons. You are saying North Korea has nuclear weapons, and that they are more advanced that we understand. Yes, I can agree. Why do their people starve to death? Why does China not help them?

[-] 1 points by Bellaciao29 (99) 12 years ago

North Korean people don't starve to death. This is another dirty lie of your governors to cloroformize their starved people.

[-] 2 points by badconduct (550) 12 years ago

What about the video footage released from hidden cameras, of kids picking up rice grains in the street? Or bags of UN food being sold? I can't accept that those videos are fake, they are clearly in Pyongyang.

[-] 1 points by Bellaciao29 (99) 12 years ago

Everything shown in TV by the american governors is fake. You live in a parallel world. I beg you. Open your eyes or you'll find in the mud while you think to swim in the blue water of the ocean.

[-] 0 points by Thrasymaque (-2138) 12 years ago

It's hard for us to read Russian! Your letters are all backwards. It looks like ancient Greek. No English version?

We have been attacking Pakistan for years. What do you think that joke of a reason (for OBL) was all about? It was a raid on their intellegence building.

[-] 1 points by FrogWithWings (1367) 12 years ago

This is unconstitutional and these actions are via resolution by the UN. Only congress should have the power to send American fighting men to protect this nation's sovereignty. Mr Paul for President. He promises to do away with executive orders and all unconstitutional acts or legislation currently in place, withdraw the USofA from the UN and NATO, shut down The Fed and give the power back to the states of which our overly large and incorporated Federal government has overstepped and taken.

[-] 1 points by MisguidedYouth2 (165) 12 years ago

It wasn't "the united states" but rather NATO planes and helicopters. Those forces are not under the US commanders in Afghanistan, but under their own NATO commander. While I understand we make up a signigicant part of the NATO forces, your attempt to blame soley the U.S. for this unfortunate friendly fire incident is a clear obviscation of the truth, and typical of left-wing loons like you.

[-] 3 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 12 years ago

You are clearly misguided. NATO is under US control, has been since WWII. We could wipe our ass with the NATO countries and not break a sweat. Sucks but true.

PS- this is not my personal belief, but what mulitiple people in the military and even one who works for NATO have told me over the years. NATO just simply deflects attentino from the US, as your post proves.

[-] 1 points by Sinaminn (104) from Sarasota, FL 12 years ago

It will be interesting to watch this unfold. If Pakistan refuses to reopen the supply lines it will hasten a withdrawal. Australia is the latest member where the population is demanding/requesting a departure from involvement.

Why is it such a shock that two armies in the same region had a battle. How do you know what happened? Is Pakistan media any more reliable than US media. This is all a bunch of propaganda. It was probably planned by both government.
