Amber Vinson and Nina Pham. When the two of you made international news for contracting the Ebola virus through direct contact with the spit, snot, blood, piss, or shit of the late Thomas Duncan, the concerns were legitimate. Viewers and readers the world over wanted to know how you were doing and if you had infected any others. Those concerns have passed. The two of you have recovered, you are Ebola free, you did not infect ANYONE else and there is no chance whatsoever for either of you to do so. The announcements have been made. The hugs have been given. There is nothing more of relevance to say or do.

There is no longer any legitimate reason for the media spotlight to follow you and no legitimate reason for you to follow the media spotlight. The two of you should know better than to seek or even tolerate anymore attention from the media. By doing so, you continue to hype Ebola, thereby driving even more of your hypochondriac fellow citizens to hospitals all over the country in order to have their incredibly common cold/flu symptoms checked for Ebola.

THIS IRRATIONAL BEHAVIOR DRIVES FEAR.

With only one case of Ebola in the entire country safely isolated and well on his way to a full recovery, there is no legitimate reason to fear Ebola in America. There is no legitimate reason to hype Ebola relentlessly.

There is no legitimate reason for either of you to say or do ANYTHING except to tell your hypochondriac fellow citizens to calm down and get over their irrational fears.

The two of you seem hell-bent on doing everything but.

This is very simple.

SHUT UP.

The following is a direct quote from the web.

"The Associated Press and other press outlets have agreed not to report on suspected cases of Ebola in the United States until a positive viral RNA test is completed."

It's true. It's also been reported that the AP and other (but not all) press outlets agreed to cut one particular angle of Ebola fear mongering, the 'suspected cases' in response to pressure from the Obama administration. It's being reported that 'liberal activists' were critical of the unnecessary coverage.

Whatever the reason for the decision, I am giving credit to the AP and to any media outlets which follow suit.

There will be no Ebola epidemic in America or in ANY developed country.
