Learn the difference between a democracy and a republic and I'll take you communists more seriously.

Thanks and I will read the article. But It doesn't matter what we know and don't know. We are peacefully occupying institutions and organizations because something isn't right and the problem is obvious to many people. What are we supposed to know before we complain? That grandma lost her Social Security and Little Sister is drowning in debt and we all lost our homes? We (or many of us) believe that these actions are CRIMINAL and IMMORAL, regardless of what 'laws' have been drafted to protect the perpetrators. Learn THAT alwayzabull, it's something that keeps getting circumnavigated by the media and conservatives.
I'm not discounting the cause; in fact, I have your same frustrations. Without a change in the way this government does business, this nation will continue to circle the drain. To get this nation back on track, it takes an informed electorate. Right now we have a bunch of angry people who don't know their ass from their Adam's apple. Educate yourselves. Read the Federalist Papers. Immerse yourself in knowledge. Anger is good. Government needs the checks and balances restored that no longer exist. Our founding fathers were geniuses. That's why America had been so successful until we sold our government to money interests.
i agree completely. Educating ourselves and the public is also the mandate coming from Anonymous and other groups. I'm sharing a lot about this phenomenon on Facebook and doing the research to back it up and sharing that too :) Educate, expose lies and deceit, show up and get involved. Something may come of it.
Could you have found a less partisan expose of the difference between a democracy and a republic?

No chance for progress in America
The media pundits keep telling Americans on TV that we must have globalization, we must only elect Republicans and Democrats, we shouldn't have a class war, we should keep letting the politicians take bribes on the record and kickback favors for those bribes, and the list is a bottomless pit of stupidity,
Only people in a deep trance would be irrational. Americans are so arrogant and hypocritical that they'd prefer being destroyed by the pundits who use propaganda to keep them in a trance around the clock.
Obama has lied about everything he promised us. I don't care what color the president is if he's making decisions that will benefit all Americans with good job opportunities, fair taxation, and a great energy plan.
In my heart I want to believe America can recover, but all the signs point to the continued disembowelment of this nation. We are so far gone that it is impossible to come back. America is gone, never to return. Now it's just a front for the money mafia. Stock up on land, precious metals, guns and food.
What do you believe it would take for the US to recover? There are a few people here to listen. By the way I couldn't agree more about the proaganda machine. Especially the globalization BS.
