now run OWS. Come on! WE need to take our protest back. Do not let extremist entities take it from us. We began as a broad spectrum of Americans tired of Political/Corporate corruption. All inclusive. Not supporting any one candidate. How do we now unite our friends and neighbors with us, while being controlled by extremist groups.
norm741...you are correct. We will be co-opted,used,marginalized and ultimately disregarded. All based on our inability to recognize and repel extremist organizers and groups.
The best way to destroy a movement is to get it aligned with either left or right extreme groups. The real message gets lost and the focus becomes the messenger not the message, People of the right and Libertarians are also fed up with the corruption of the system and if this is true about Acorn its classic co opting
KKK,Nazis,Skinheads have the same mentallity as Acorn,Moveon.org,American Comunist Party....just different end of the spectrum. We dont need them. We need the Middle.
Invite some other organisations like some of the anti-immigration groups to join for a march. Lets get some "Don't tread on me" Flags waving.
