How about if we drill for more oil - that would definitely influence the cost of gas. Here is a link that proves it.

Well, if the vast majority of people in this country changed their interest from texting, facebooking, tweeting and watching Dancing with the Stars and became more interested and involved in what the government is doing then maybe the people would be in charge.

That, my friend, isn't going to happen anytime soon.

Why, because if the people of this country were engaged, the OWS would probably have 150 million people protesting out on the streets instead of the meager 3,000 or so at the high profile events.

What does that tell you. And it's not because they can't make it, they don't want to because they have more important things to do like watching a football game, or a basket ball game or just doing nothing.
