The deletion of threads and or posts is starting to become a serious problem. And should make people think twice about this movement. If you are not able to tolerate discussions and arguments that do not fit your world view, well, good luck with pure democracy.

An absolute sign of Intellectual Bankruptcy, and a scary view of what might be to come

Unfortunately, I agree and I believe that if this movement is successful the result will be civil war.

I fear that myself

If this ever really happened and a serious revolution occurred, people might begin to realize what percentage they are actually in

Well, I believe that this movements ends, if successful, will be revolution. Not necessarily violent revolution but a shift in power none the less. That being said the problem is not with a shift in power the problem will begin when the new power begins to put into action the "solutions" to the problems that caused the movement that created the power shift. If direct democracy is put into play and the majority wins the day and put's it's "solutions" into play the minority that supported the movement is almost certain to revolt along with all of the others who stood by to watch and see what would result from all of this.

Now I'm not saying this would be a good or bad thing but I do think that the end result is going to come to violence at some point.
