Forum Post: A present to the bank from Santa

We in Occupy Edinburgh noticed that Santa paid the RBS a visit and planted a Pirate Flag atop their Global HQ building.

The flag remained there for 16 hours, until a rather slow moving employee managed after a lot of effort to get it down.

Occupy Edinburgh noted that the RBS Global HQ had been locked down and a police ribbon placed around it with the words "CRIME SCENE".

Santa has the right idea.

"The Banks are Pirates"

“Banks lend by creating credit. They create the means of payment out of nothing. ” Ralph M Hawtry, former Secretary to the Treasury. “… our whole monetary system is dishonest, as it is debt-based… We did not vote for it. It grew upon us gradually but markedly since 1971 when the commodity-based system was abandoned.” The Earl of Caithness, in a speech to the House of Lords, 1997.

“The bank hath benefit of interest on all moneys which it creates out of nothing.” William Paterson, founder of the Bank of England in 1694, then a privately owned bank

“Let me issue and control a nation’s money and I care not who writes the laws.” Mayer Amschel Rothschild (1744-1812), founder of the House of Rothschild.

I hope not. The police earn their money, unlike the banking scoundrels.

Yes. There is also a lot of new security guards patroliing the bank. We are glad that they are getting some work also to support their families. They get cold somtimes and are always welcome to come over and get some warm food or coffee from the main tent.

Yes. We do cooperate with normal people. The enemy are the crooks in the 1%, mainly banking execs. We want them all in jail.

I'd imagine the asshole had to break in to get to the roof. It would have been better if he fell off while doing it

Just because you don't want to pay for all the shit you charged on your credit cards doesn't make anyone a pirate except you!

Tool.

I don't have credit cards. They are unnecessary.
