There are a few people Washington on the right track. Sen. Bernie Sanders is one of them. Check out his petition against Citizens United . Sen. Sanders has the knowledge ,experience and will to do the work of the 99% from the inside out.
Sen. Bernie Sanders has proposed a constitutional amendment that would overturn the Supreme Court decision in a case called Citizens United vs. FEC.

The Saving American Democracy Amendment states that:
Corporations are not persons with constitutional rights equal to real people.
Corporations are subject to regulation by the people.
Corporations may not make campaign contributions or any election expenditures.
Congress and states have the power to regulate campaign finances.

Yeah Bernie sounds pretty good so far.
I was born and grew up in Vermont and as long as I can remember Bernie Sanders has been doing the work of the people , and with great diligence. It gives me great pride to know that he is still working his tail of for Vermont and the rest of the country.
Another thing that gives me home state pride is The Vermont Progressive Party. http://www.progressiveparty.org/ coincidentally there big OWS supporters.
This post was not about Bernie though. It was to encourage people to sign on to the petition. No matter how you feel about Bernie I think most people in this forum would agree that Citizens United is very dangerous.
I vote for the Senator.

Sen. Bernie Sanders is a joke. How can you save this country from something it is not? This is a constitutional republic not a democracy. The founding fathers warned against ever turning into a democracy. The ruling elite don't care what we are as long as they control the money. It will be far easier for them if it is a democracy though. When people claim America is a democracy that tells me they are brainwashed.
