The Democrats released a new song today titled: Twinkle Teaming it!
It's a fast paced dance number featuring a short duet interlude by Rice and Obama. Each verse is sung by a different member of the Twinkle Team and explains how they were able to co-opt this website. During daylight hours, part of the song is censored due to GirlFriday's use of profanity, but the song can be heard as intended after midnight.
During the whole song, shooz can be heard in the background repeating over and over again - "ALEC, no ALEC! ALEC, no ALEC! And when I ban you, whatcha gonna do!" in a gangsta rap style.
Here's a short excerpt of ZenDog's verse:

I believe fighting against censorship is important, even primordial. You don't think so? I believe the better world will be one where everyone can speak their minds. A world where there is no hierarchy of the censors and censored. We can't create that better world with Occupy if Occupy still persists with this antiquated hierarchy.

Those are you delusions talking. I never attacked this forum. I always tried to help it. The problem is you're a conspiracy theorist, so your logic gets confused by your delusions. There's not much one can do to straighten that out except to ask that you look at the evidence, which conspiracy theorists never do. If you did take a moment to look at my posting history, you would find no postings or comments which support right wing ideologies, and, instead, you would find many that support Occupy either by proposing ideas which would help Occupy, or by criticizing Occupy weaknesses in the hopes of fixing them.
Ideas like the Bridge To The Ground, ideas like a forum based on anarchic principles, ideas like pushing for the creation of anarcho-syndicalist based businesses, and so on...
If one day you are ready to drop your delusions, and use proper arguments instead of logical fallacies like ad hominem, perhaps we could enter into interesting and meaningful discussions which would permit both of us to grow. You'd have to drop the Twinkle Team also.

I hate capitalism. It's evil. I push for anarcho-socialism. One day, when we are ready, anarcho-communism. Like Marx said, communism can only exist in a post-scarcity society. Since we aren't there yet, we need to look at socialism first.
I was always amazed at how US was capitalistic. So right wing in terms of economy. I always favored systems like in Canada where health care is free for all, or in Scandanavian countries where university is free for all. I never understood why US, one of the richest countries in the world, was so based on individualism. There's so much money there, why not help everyone with socialism? Every US citizen should have access to health care and free education. I believe it's because US was against Russia for so long. They had to take the opposite position. A very anti-socialist approach, very much based on capitalism. Quite sad really.
I won't assume whether you support the Twinkle Team censorship or not. I don't like making conspiracy theorist type assumptions. If you are against censorship, it would be good to speak against it. I think it's hurting the forum quite a bit. I don't see how we can start building a better society if this very forum is based around the inequality of censors vs those censored. I talk about this issue because I find it extremely important. You may not, and that is OK. But, you should let me talk about it. More importantly, you should know that ideas can stand on their own two feet. The proposer does not matter. Attacking his motives is an appeal to motive. Attacking his authority is an appeal to authority. What matters are ideas, and ideas only.
The idea presented here is that censorship is not a good thing for this website. We should instead have a forum without the moderator/user hierarchy. A forum where each user can moderator by himself, for himself. Where users can ignore other users, ignore certain key words in posting headings if they want to ignore certain subjects, ignore keywords in comments if they want to ignore profanity, and so on...
A forum where everyone can participate, but everyone can also filter out what they want and don't want to read. We don't need a big brother like shooz. We are adults and can decide what we want to read for ourselves. We don't need the protection of guardian angels.
