Thank you Fellow Workers, I thank all you Wobblies who were involved in the Wall Street action and those Wobblies who quickly supported the arrested. You make this old Wobbly feel proud of you. Some take an isolationist view, but again you have shown Wobblies as they should be, connected to the struggles of the people in the real world. For truly all things are connected, be it the Wall Street action, be it the Longview longshoremen be it the sand tar pipeline protests, be it the Wisconsin worker protests, be it the struggles of immigrants, be it the struggles against racism and sexism, be it the anti-war protests, be it the WTO protests, be it Redwood Summer, be it about Leonard Peltier, be it the struggles of many communities and be it our own struggles like Starbucks and other Wobbly organizing (and that is just in this country), it is all connected and it all fights the same enemy, the rich greedy ones. Yes, the IWW main focus should be organizing, but standing out there in the public hand and hand with other struggling people must always be a part of that process. And making solidarity a way of life, rather than just a slogan, is something we all must learn to do, and you Fellow Workers have done that. I have passed along information that I have seen. Keep up the good work. Thank you In Solidarity Arthur J. Miller
