I would like to discuss the possibility of a peaceful demonstration that anyone can participate in. A one day "boycott" on Americans using credit/bank check cards for purchases, like a cash only "black friday" would be great, this will hit the "banks" directly in thier wallets. It will allow everyday people to make a statement directly to the banks, because for every purchase made with a check/credit cart up to 8% goes to the bank processing it... food for thought?

Or, support your local credit union, or the a cooperative bank, such as the National Cooperative Bank. I believe lots of people did just that on Bank Transfer Day, so much so that Bank of America recently announced a plan to cancel a $5 fee. Whatever they do doesn't really matter to me, because credit unions also support local initiatives, something big banks tend to shy away from.

roflmao! Where would you go to get enough cash to spend for a day? Under your mattress?

You should stop using plastic altogether, except in an emergency. One day will have little effect.
