If you have access to free education If you have a toilet If you have access to clean water If you have the right to vote in deomcratic elections

You may be part of the 99% of the USA but just as your ancestors did when things got rough and times were hard, move on. I ask those in the movement to consider living as a subsistance farmer in Africa or indeed move to Iran where your views will (not) be heard out in Peace and Fairness. Would any of you do that?

Yeah! America should just stop striving for greatness. As long as we are better than Podunk, we should all bow and scrape. Oh, wait, that's what the problem is, we got cramps from all that bowing and scraping in the race to get our third world status. My bad, falling behind is okay, so long as Podunk is poorer, Podunk is less educated, Podunk is less free, Podunk is more dangerous. I like this new American ideal, we can all relax and let it go to hell cause there will always be a Podunk to point at, even if we have to blow it up first.

a near-hysterical leftist missed the point and ranted away about something else.

how shocking!!

lol, outside your fan club you'll find a few real people here! Glad you liked my post. I have a gift with language.

[-] 1 points by Altimus (8) 12 years ago

Well I don't see it actually working, has Occupy wall street formed its own party yet? ofc not in the Meanwhile you should be grateful you can still point at the middle of nowhere and say I am in a better position than Podunk "I can walk down to my grocery store and a) find food b) not get shot at on the way"

So are you going to send your 30$ tent to refugee camps after the protest?

[-] 1 points by Libertarianliving (149) 12 years ago

Buying those tents was giving money to CORPORATIONS. They should be ashamed of themselves. They should have made them from animal hides. Wait, they are liberals so they don't believe in guns or hunting. I guess pine branch lean-tos would be a more desirable option.

[-] 1 points by JadedGem (895) 12 years ago

I'd ship them this whole trailer if I could afford to if and when my USDA loan goes threw! I just don't want to get in it with the banks if don't have to. Your point?

[-] 1 points by Libertarianliving (149) 12 years ago

Are you kidding???? These Liberal whiners believe that since they are American citizens, they DESERVE, have the right to, at least 2 cars, a fancy house, and all the latest luxuries.

[-] 1 points by HarryCrew07 (433) 12 years ago

It is lucky that we have a movement here in our country built of people who have a right to speak out against the injustice of our world. If this movement were not here, it would be repressed by a military regime, as it is being repressed in countries where this movement started. We should be thankful that we have not lost so much of the control of our own lives that Americans still have the right to do as their forefathers did and rebel.

[-] 1 points by Libertarianliving (149) 12 years ago

Keep voting Liberals into office and soon we won't have those rights.

[-] 1 points by HarryCrew07 (433) 12 years ago

Liberals = Conservatives

[-] 1 points by Libertarianliving (149) 12 years ago

I have to agree with you on that one. They BOTH want to control different aspects of our lives. Liberals want to control our money. Conservatives want to control how we spend it and what we do with our own minds and bodies. We need ELECTION REFORM!

[-] 1 points by Altimus (8) 12 years ago

You didn't have the right then ;)

[-] 1 points by HarryCrew07 (433) 12 years ago

According to them it was their right, and because of them it is ours still.

[-] 1 points by Altimus (8) 12 years ago

Well take up arms then. That was the only way you overthrew opposition last time. Rebellion? Revolution? looks more like kids in the park from the other side of the pond.

[-] 1 points by HarryCrew07 (433) 12 years ago

This whole "you" thing is rather funny. Are you an American? Because it sounds like you aren't from the way your categorizing. Plus, I was definitely not around the last time. And I'm a pacifist.

[-] 1 points by Altimus (8) 12 years ago

I did mention I was British in my post. the take up arms was meant as a riposte to your "we have the right to rebel"

[-] 1 points by HarryCrew07 (433) 12 years ago

You did not, but its whatever.

[-] 1 points by Altimus (8) 12 years ago

"Other side of the pond"? Common term for provenance from Britain.

[-] 1 points by HarryCrew07 (433) 12 years ago

Ahhh, I see. hahaha, subtleties...

Screw the world's problems let's fix ours first. Our military INSURES your right to protest but most OWS are too blind to see that.

[-] 1 points by computer (10) 12 years ago

Our military insures that no one in the world- has the right to protest. the whole world either does what our 1% tell them to do- or else. go to any country in the world and ask one of its citizens- they will tell you America is the worlds oppressor, and the american people are brainwashed. training web page http://tinyurl.com/7rvpv43

So as I said. Fuck the world. Close every damn base we have in other countries.Bring all our troops home and station them on the borders with orders to shoot anything that tries to come across. No more exports no more imports. Stay home for ten years and see how the world feels about us then. It's possible,it can be done. Think of all the money we would be able to pump into our own country instead of pissing it away to countries that have one hand out for it and a knife in the other to stab us. Kick the sorry ass UN out of our country too and they can pay their own fucking bills now instead of us footing it. Fuck the rest of the world, charity begins at home.

[-] 1 points by HarryCrew07 (433) 12 years ago

The world's problems are our problems now. The global system we have created makes us dependent on one another. Lets see just how things would run if we cut ourselves off from the rest of the world.

[-] 0 points by Perspective (-243) 12 years ago

Yes we should. let's see how long before other countries are banging on our door wanting our food and goods(mostly food). Close the borders and shoot anything that tries to cross it. Kick the U.N. out and let them set up shop in the middle east somewhere. Tell the whole world to f-off for the next ten years.

[-] 1 points by HarryCrew07 (433) 12 years ago

The energy crisis will be ours.

[-] 0 points by Perspective (-243) 12 years ago

Hardly. We have enough resources to last a lot longer on our own than other countries can.

[-] 1 points by HarryCrew07 (433) 12 years ago

We will see soon enough :)

[-] 0 points by Perspective (-243) 12 years ago

One can only hope. Iran will soon be a smoking mirror so they can have fun trying to sell that glowing oil.

[-] 1 points by Altimus (8) 12 years ago

I agree with you wholly, Ive had enogh of the world accusing the US of being a medling authority. Im british and Know full well that if the US did as you said we'd be screwed in less than 5 years.
